So I just finished watching the anime and popped over to the manga, and I immediately got captivated by this little guy.

Like, what is he? So sort of proto-god? In the fourth link, I am pretty sure Yato calls it a blessing that she wished into existence, like if enough kids wished to pass their exams in the school and actually passed, would it become a god, would it get all that juice and just grow, or would a bunch of small spirits/maybe blessings come into existence?

It was never brought up in the anime, so I was curious if the answer was ever given in the manga after chapter one because I don't want to read 80 chapters and then find a half-baked plot hole cover later on for what the bird thing is.
