  • Due to issues with external spam filters, QQ is currently unable to send any mail to Microsoft E-mail addresses. This includes any account at live.com, hotmail.com or msn.com. Signing up to the forum with one of these addresses will result in your verification E-mail never arriving. For best results, please use a different E-mail provider for your QQ address.
  • For prospective new members, a word of warning: don't use common names like Dennis, Simon, or Kenny if you decide to create an account. Spammers have used them all before you and gotten those names flagged in the anti-spam databases. Your account registration will be rejected because of it.
  • Since it has happened MULTIPLE times now, I want to be very clear about this. You do not get to abandon an account and create a new one. You do not get to pass an account to someone else and create a new one. If you do so anyway, you will be banned for creating sockpuppets.
  • Due to the actions of particularly persistent spammers and trolls, we will be banning disposable email addresses from today onward.

Sorry if this has come up before.

Recently I have been wondering about the idea of conversations with only yourself able to view them. I often find myself using the Xenoforum text editor box when writing things due to familiarity, and the ability to draft posts or stories, save them there, and carry on until you want to review them strikes me as productive. Obviously PMing a friend can fulfill most of this, but I think the desire for privacy, wanting to filter yourself a bit, or have a bunch of annoying partial drafts would be served with this.

It's entirely possible I missed a way to do this, and I realize it's a fairly niche concept anyway, but I thought I'd bring it up.

There is a certain account on this Forum. testaccount.
That account is not used. You may use it to make a practically private convo.

Alternatively, you could start a convo with me, and I'll leave it. I believe that should work, and I don't think it's against the rules.

Biigoh, would that be against the rules?

Yes, testaccount is a good target for that sort of thing, if you need a private conversation. Bonus; you can preview your formatting and see how it works instead of needing to do it blind and hope for the best as you would if using an exterior medium.

That's exactly the kind of trick I was looking for. Thanks!
