I often see what my favourite authors favourite stories are on sites like fiction.live or royalroad.
I imagine it would be just one more table in the db or just one more column in the user table - and would be overall, quite a nice feature. Just another tab on the user profile.
And on the thread, a button, perhaps next to Watch, to Favourite the thread, so that it can be in their public list.
It's also really nice to have as a list of fics to share with friends and to see - hey, this person said they favourited this story I liked a lot - let me see what their other favourites are!!
People already have lots of threads where they ask for recommendations and give recommendations, for stories, so there clearly is already lots of demand for something like this.
