• The site has now migrated to Xenforo 2. If you see any issues with the forum operation, please post them in the feedback thread.
  • Due to issues with external spam filters, QQ is currently unable to send any mail to Microsoft E-mail addresses. This includes any account at live.com, hotmail.com or msn.com. Signing up to the forum with one of these addresses will result in your verification E-mail never arriving. For best results, please use a different E-mail provider for your QQ address.
  • For prospective new members, a word of warning: don't use common names like Dennis, Simon, or Kenny if you decide to create an account. Spammers have used them all before you and gotten those names flagged in the anti-spam databases. Your account registration will be rejected because of it.
  • Since it has happened MULTIPLE times now, I want to be very clear about this. You do not get to abandon an account and create a new one. You do not get to pass an account to someone else and create a new one. If you do so anyway, you will be banned for creating sockpuppets.
  • Due to the actions of particularly persistent spammers and trolls, we will be banning disposable email addresses from today onward.
  • The rules regarding NSFW links have been updated. See here for details.

On Spacebattles, the hard cut-off age for (Implied) NSFW relationships is 15 so long as the characters are shown to be understanding of the meaning behind the relationship and there is a clear equal-sharing of power in the relationship. What is the hard cut-off point on Questionable Questing?

Rule 2 only applies to content that is not marked as nsfw. Ages don't matter at all, only explicitness. If you are concerned that the implied stuff is too explicit, then mark it as nsfw.

For rule 3: no real images of child porn, and no images that could be mistaken as real images of child porn. Ages of fictional characters don't matter in written works on QQ.

Thank you! That helps me a lot!

In particular, I remember a mod in another thread here saying that if an image shows a real person, and if the image claims the real person is under I think 18, they'll just slam you. But drawn stuff is whatever.

That would be me. But yes, that's pretty much it. What would could we do that situation? Verify and actually get on a watchlist? No. So it's an automatic ban as well if it happen.

In fact I've definitely seen some QQ works with NSFW situations involving (fictional, of course) characters whose age was in single digits. (And occasionally even below that, but those were usually special circumstances.)
