Clearly, there's a lot of instances where the sticky rants threads can get a bit... Heated. Perhaps it would be better if we made @Bigoh or @Gibbeousmoons the OP of each of these threads, simply so that all modposts can be threadmarked more easily without using mod tools? 'Twould seem logical, even if only for the SB thread so we don't have to see nightblade everyday as the OP of a thread toward the top of a fairly active subforum.

I thought the mod and OP tools to make threadmarks were the same, the permission being "mods and OP"?

Also, has nightblade abused his OP status in any way? Because I mean "I don't like him so let's do damnatio memoriae" is kinda being a bully.

Mods... Don't generally threadmark their posts, so I'm not sure on that part.

As for the second part, Nightblade got exterminatus'd, so he can't be a lab active OP as he's perma'd.

If you want... you COULD make a new thread outside of Rants for such and we can shut down the one in Rants... you would then have OP powers. :3

While I disagree with the request being made, I will weigh in on this. Biigoh, you are being mildly disingenuous, as the moment the thread moves outside of rants, it no longer is capable of being the thread it is supposed to be, which is a hive of vitriol and anger towards the actions of members of Spacebattles, and their stupidity therein.

Threadmarking powers are in no way an equal benefit to the loss of this thread's core purpose.

Fuhuhuhuhu.... Tanuki can be playful, you know... Basically, asking mods to be ops when you can just make new threads~.
