I feel like a good deal of the threads that get locked due to discourse do so due to people quoting thread banned people or earlier instigators so if mods could hit some button that made it so that only mods could quote that person for the rest of the thread I feel that would both make their jumps easier while also lessening conflict
Like if Randomaccount420XXz got thread banned for instigating a ton of discourse in the thread you all could press a button and people couldn't quote him anymore they therefore couldn't bring up one of his earlier posts on page 117/568 and making more issues in the current thread

I of course don't know how hard it would be to implement and I am sorry if it is an impossible request
