Naturally, in more serious stories I'll probably try to make Arturia and Shirou more of their own characters and less expies.

(I might end up reworking my fanon in the future for more stories).

Nevertheless, there are some ways to take it. One is that they are just this universe's take on Arturia and Shirou who just have some similarities.

Another is that they were both reborn into Remnant from Earth, and were given a chance at something they were denied in their past lives: A happy ending. A mortal life.

But this has a price. Because they will have to come out of retirement to fight Salem... And it will be their final battle.

A fight to save their family, to save their home, to save the world... To give them a fighting chance. One last battle against the night.

Jaune: "Nana, NO! DON'T-!"

Arturia: smiles and kisses the top of his head "Sweetie... I am so proud of the man you've become. I am so happy about the life I built with Shirou. A mortal life... Of love, children, tears... It was worth everything. And that's why it's worth dying for."

Shirou: smiles "Jaune? The rest... It's up to you now."

Arturia: "Now go... RUN!"

And against Salem...

Salem: "Your ideals will crumble to dust! I have seen hero after hero after hero fall and fail and die! All for what?! To keep your pathetic little species going?! To see another sunrise?!"

Shirou: "YES!"

Arturia: "Because that is the core of what it means to be human!"

Shirou: "And your pain is no excuse to destroy it all!"

    Jaune: wince "I just... My lineage doesn't matter if I can't live up to it, does it? It makes me look like some loser who is relying on his family name. All my ancestors, my parents, were all amazing warriors, heroes! And... And I'm trying to be that. I wanted to pretend that I was... But I'm not. And if I can't live up to my family name, I'll at least not dishonor it by being some asshole. Better a loser than a-a jerk! So I'm sorry."

    He bowed his head in shame. Weiss worked her jaw.

    Weiss: "... Jaune? I... I do... I do understand."

    Jaune: "Huh?" looks up

    Weiss: "My father..." sighs "He's ruined the family name, made us hated and feared. I keep getting judged for my name, all his crimes. I can appreciate not throwing it around if... If you can't back it up. I've met a lot of people who have all this pedigree and so many famous people in their families who were scum, just trying to impress me. So... Well... I appreciate you not doing that."

    Jaune: brightens "So-?"

    Weiss: "I still don't like you like that or find you attractive. At all."

    Jaune: wilts

    Weiss: "But... You're better than I thought. For a dolt."

    Jaune: smiles "Well... That's good to know. I guess."

    Weiss: "Don't take that as a sign I'll ever like you more than that!"

    Jaune: "N-No! No! I get it, I get it!" holds his hands up "But um... Would you like to spar with my great-grandparents at some point?"

    Weiss: "YES!" clears throat "I-I mean, it would be an honor."

    Jaune: "Great! You'll get to go after Pyrrha, Ruby, Yang, Blake, Nora, Arslan-"

    Weiss: "Wh-Wh-What?! Why are they all going before me?!"

    Jaune: "Well they asked first. You didn't want to talk to me."

    Huh. So this is a small idea related to the doctor Jaune stuff.

    What if he did bring something besides crocea mors to beacon?

    It's compact, efficient, and horrifically deadly.

    Jaune also insists that it's not a weapon it's a tool of mercy.

    It's a small dagger (more like a oversized needle to be honest) that ignores aura and instantly floods a body with max potency ice dust. Instantly fatal, no time for pain, and preserves the body.

    Everyone is freaked out that that thing exists and has literally been sitting in his back pocket all school year.

    -Write your own short entry for "Leadership Class". Serious, unserious, have some fun with it.

    -Arslan switches leadership duties with Ruby. How long does it take for Arslan to resort to going full nun and rapping the knuckles of the WBY girls with a ruler? My bet is ten minutes at best.

    Weiss: "This is completely unnecessary-OW!"

    Blake: "We're both Faunus, you should have-OW!"

    Yang: "Hey Sister, don't make this a habit-OW!"

    -Jaune and Pyrrha help RWBY to keep Blake from running off anymore.

    Jaune: "Pyrrha? Keep her here. Sit on her if you have to."

    Blake: "I knew you were a pervert!"

    Pyrrha: blush "Well, if you want me to Jaune, I will."

    Blake: "Keep me pinned underneath your-your partner while you have you way with me?! Put a collar on me?! I knew you were twisted and perverted beneath your dorky exterior!"

    Jaune: "You're the one red faced and panting!"

    -On a more serious note, how would you have Weiss and Adam meet and discuss things without it immediately turning to violence? Because they really needed to meet and interact at some point. I'm not advocating for a romance, just a meeting between the heiress who wants to change her company and make up for her father's crimes, and the violent revolutionary who emerged as a consequence of her father's actions.
     
    I had a amazingly dumb idea.

    The schnee family secret.

    Dust crystals so powerful and pure that you can get infinite uses out of them.

    Fashioned into a set of rings including one that was a blank/elementless dust crystal that as a experiment they tried to fill with the schnee summoning Semblance.

    Didn't seem to actually do anything. Until you use it with the other rings. Then it summons a being made out of pure power and control over the elements.
