This is something that I have noticed, is there any way to be able to search conversations with specific phrases and such? Or is that only for the forum itself?

It was almost certainly on SV/SB. There's a XenForo plug-in that adds reaction and search integration to conversations. alethiophile mentioned keeping an eye out for one in a suggestion in 2017 but he hasn't responded to any of the pings in later threads on the topic, or to the plug in getting linked on the thread he did respond to.
