@Rocksmash Honestly, I get the impression Vergil wasn't taking that interview seriously either. I watched the video and he gave off the vibe of someone who really just wanted to go sleep off the pain and wasn't being allowed to. I think he was being deliberately flippant and rude to get the vultures to back off, so it's kinda unclear how seriously any of us should be taking this.

I mean, that bit doesn't need to be said. Like everyone on the thread says, The only people who like Gotham are Bruce Wayne, the Bat-Clan, and maybe Gordon, though I think that's mostly because his Daughter lives their. All I know, is that if someone targets her and succeeds, they're likely to show up in a fucking ditch. The only Exception being the Joker, but he's bullshit when it comes to escaping Death Traps.

Back to the subject at hand, I'm just glad that Vergil's only a Control Freak fueled by spite, because if he goes too far, Tifa (His RL Anime Big Tiddie GF) would smack him back down to Gotham's version of Sanity. At the very least, I'm sure that old acquaintance of his would put a bullet in him if he ended up like the Arkham Inmates. She's scary AF when it comes to violence, and she makes me nervous even when she's calm. Sure, I'm used to it by now and it's just general wariness nowadays, but Lord has Mercy for the poor soul who pisses her off, because she won't.

This just makes too much sense! Meta powers tend to show up around puberty, and all of a sudden a poor street kid getting unlimited do-overs at life finds incredible success in a hurry? And it would make sense if Batman found out about a new powerful subtle metahuman in his turf and recruited him as the new Robin, the timeliness even match! Batman has to have some kind of non-obvious power himself (I think it's probability manipulation or short term precognitive abilities) and he's so secretive there's no way he'd ever admit to having powers but how else would an otherwise "normal guy" be a founding member of the Justice League seen as a peer by the others with obvious super powers?

Oh that's easy, I talk to people, plus all you have to do is look up "Saint Vergil's Girlfriend", then you'd find all sorts of threads. All of which has Tifa's name.
Also, my dad's close Friends with some Lowtown residents, and he told me about it. He kept in touch with them after his homeless days, and after my very brief stay, I help him transport some food when I got old enough. He works at a Construction Company owned by Vergil now, Sainthood Construction I think they're called?

Villains in our town at least keep their heads down, Superman is only a hop skip and a jump away from us. Gotham on the other hand only has Batman. Hell, last time we had a bank robbery here, Supes stopped it while getting some particularly greasy burgers. Locals know where I'm talking and just how good they are.

Batman is pretty taxed as it is and still tries to claim the whole city. It takes an entire family of bats what one Superman can do on a lunch break.

My point is, how the hell does someone miss the use floramancy or some shit to grow an entire second city under a city? Doesn't that tip-off seismographs or something? The Bat is supposed to be the brains of the League of Justice, one of the biggest geniuses of the world.. and he missed THAT in his own city?

This doesn't just cry out secret cabals, government conspiracies, and being busy... the shows that the Bat needs to stop trying to keep his sandbox to himself. Gotham has some of the worst crime statistics in the country. With as many villains that regularly escape from that revolving door, I think the entire league just needs to clean house of the city. Hold special elections who've been psychically vetted, and get to the bottom this.

And Soon before some of its problems become our problems.

First, I completely Agree with the Implications about Fugly Bob's, those are some seriously good burgers. Second, at least Gotham doesn't have a known Concentrated Nazi Population, and Gotham's Crime statistics is only some of the worst in the country in it's history, whereas BB has the worst Crime Statistics in the history of the US, and that happened in the past few decades. The only reason your city is still in good shape is because of the Docks, get rid of that, and That Cities Crime wave is much more apparent.

Ironically enough, them keeping their heads down is the only reason your Dark Protector hasn't took them down yet. If it wasn't for that, she'd have what she needed to take them down.

Also, it's like you said, Batman is only one guy who has to take care of the League, because if there's anyone keeping them from accidentally pulling a diplomatic incident, it's him and Wonder Woman, Nightwing is off going on adventures with his group Super Friends, and when he's gone the only people looking after this city is the Second Robin and their Eye in the Sky. He's vastly understaffed as is, and when you have all his other obligations, it's pretty understandable. Not everyone is like Skitter, no matter how much Batman wants to be.

In okeanos we are introduced to an Artemis that is completely lovestuck by orion, in the atlantis lostbelt we find out that as all Gods (tge major ones at last) from Fate they were originally aliens, but after a few years on the planet the got killed by Veber and their anthropomorphic form is merely their Divine spirit, that is something like their main essence/concept sublimated and bound to the planet through human belief, that now gives them power and sustain them. While i think i read somewhere Quetzalcoatl and co. were spores, Greek gods were giant mechas, each with its own function. In the Lostbelt (alternative history) Zeus instead of being killed off by Veber broke one of its main restrictions and controlled the other mecha gods to form a super megazord that fought off Veber. Then killed a few robot-gods that rebelled and mind-controlled the rest, for example subjecting Poseidon to a complete Death of the personality to make him a sort of sentinel

Hell, the thing you said about her that I was responding to was about her relationship with Vergil, one of the two topics of the thread.

Sidenote, what makes you think that Revy and Vergil split? I've been asking around, and apparently, they were seen exchanging gifts at Christmas during some sort of Christmas feast that I really wish I had known about.

I should probably clarify what I meant. I just took a really great nap and realized I was miswording what I meant. I apologize, and I was tired AF. Apparently she helped him with some uppity Gang Bangers who were harassing Lowtown, back when it was thought to be a Butchers mill for Homeless people, thinking they would get a cut of the profits, and she also did Bodyguard Duty for him, and my sleep deprived mind interpreted that as her working for him, when it was just her doing freelance. The fact that she stuck around Lowtown means that they made a bigger impression then she thought. Also, that gift is a very awesome one. Could do with her not doing weird things to it when I'm stopping by.
