QQ has steadily been growing since its inception. What started as a small forum of 25~ concurrent users is now averaging 500+ in any given 15 minute window. We're not small time anymore!


This has consequences. We've had to upgrade our hosting plan a couple times in the past, and that time is now upon us again. We've been having server issues, as I'm sure many of you have noticed, and that is caused by our server running out of disk space.

Our current plan is $56/mo and has only a 60gb partition. We plan to move to a new plan later today that allows us 400gb, but keeps our current processors(quad-core 3ghz). This gives us almost 7 times the capacity of our current plan.

However, there is a catch. This new plan is $80/mo and that exceeds our current donations, not to mention our yearly costs like Xenforo license renewals and domain name fee, which adds another $10/mo to our bill.

We need $25 more a month in donations to cover the new server plan.

Will you protect our place of lewds with a monthly donation?

Well, Paypal does take a small fee out of donations(2.9% + $.30). That's why the minimum is $5 a month. That gives us, iirc, $4.50/mo. Any less and it feels like people are paying Paypal for almost no gain.
 
Any hope it can be something other than paypal? Direct payment from virtual debit card or webmoney transfer maybe?

It's all done by Paypal, I'm afraid. The hosting plan is billed to it.

You can, iirc, pay into a Paypal account by credit card/prepaid credit card without a Paypal account.

I have opted to put in $10USD13CAD a month. Because hey, nice site, might as well put a hand in to help, right? Also, now I have that sweet sweet Gold Title! Er, I mean, "The sites continuation is its own reward", yes!

Pretty small cost compared to what we all get in benefits! I can't subscribe without giving PayPal a debit card I'd rather not give them, but I've donated $50 for a lifetime of green. If this site is worth this much of my time, it has to be worth that much of my money!

If I had the disposable income I'd definitely drop some cash your way, but money's kinda fucked right now sooooo, yeah, sorry for being a freeloader too.

Edit: I do provide a service of dank meme's and lewd writings, granted it's only a few chapters in so far but I shall endeavor to add more lewds to the pile, in lieu of money at the moment xD.

As someone who 1) doesn't have a Paypal account or a credit card (or even a debit card that can be trusted to have over $5 on it), and 2) doesn't really have that much spending money anyway (not that I have much to spend it on either - food is bought by parents), count me in for "I'd like to donate, but don't really have the opportunity".
