"Great, so now he will see you for the first time when you are me, on Saturday, with both of us having the exact same guilt signature.
"We are not escaping that way, we kust needed to be out of the hostages' sight. You and I are getting arrested."
'the'
No, that's Amy being obvious about the Undersiders' exact names. As far as she knows at that point, it's Hellhound, Grue, Regnant, Blonde Bitch, and Bug Bitch.
This Amy is frankly a lot more rational than canon Amy. Much more perspective on what is really going on, rather than just being a pile of guilt.
I have trouble with this. Amy has never shown this sort of capability in canon, with macroscopic creatures. Building Atlas, I figured that she altered their makeup to make them squish in together and then form a single organism - but only while she was touching those specific bugs. Affecting bugs that are touching other bugs? Nope. I can't see it.I reached out to them with a mix of apprehension, and anxiety. I have never actually tried to meld together different animals while only touching one of them. It ought to work, after all, during my healing routine, I have regularly killed infectious bacteria, balanced gut flora, and otherwise interacted with the surprising amounts of independent organisms inside a person that were not, strictly speaking, parts of the same organism if you thought too hard about it. Logically, my power has to apply to all living matter, that is in contact with any living matter, that is in contact with me.
What would you call Victoria's rebirthing tank, then?I have trouble with this. Amy has never shown this sort of capability in canon, with macroscopic creatures. The cocoon in which she put Vicky? It was all part of Vicky.

When would she have used it? In hospitals, getting patients to hold hands and chain-heal them. That would be an obvious use, which she never did.
As for mucking around with the micro-organisms inside a person, it would be child's play (for her, that is) to make the body itself able to absorb or create the organisms she needs. Or perhaps her power sees the body, plus all the micro-organisms in it, as one entity (after all, we're descended from micro-organisms that were ultimately several creatures living in symbiosis). But "this touches that, therefore my power affects both"? Nope.
However, you can still have her create the biomass-suit by doing what I suggested above, but she won't be able to use her Striker power at a distance, unless she makes the tentacle able to bond on a cellular level with the person she's touching with it, and thus make them part of the same 'life form'.
As it is, I'm seeing this fic as an AU where she has a different variant on her canon power. Which is perfectly valid.
