• The site has now migrated to Xenforo 2. If you see any issues with the forum operation, please post them in the feedback thread.
  • Due to issues with external spam filters, QQ is currently unable to send any mail to Microsoft E-mail addresses. This includes any account at live.com, hotmail.com or msn.com. Signing up to the forum with one of these addresses will result in your verification E-mail never arriving. For best results, please use a different E-mail provider for your QQ address.
  • For prospective new members, a word of warning: don't use common names like Dennis, Simon, or Kenny if you decide to create an account. Spammers have used them all before you and gotten those names flagged in the anti-spam databases. Your account registration will be rejected because of it.
  • Since it has happened MULTIPLE times now, I want to be very clear about this. You do not get to abandon an account and create a new one. You do not get to pass an account to someone else and create a new one. If you do so anyway, you will be banned for creating sockpuppets.
  • Due to the actions of particularly persistent spammers and trolls, we will be banning disposable email addresses from today onward.
  • The rules regarding NSFW links have been updated. See here for details.

Currently, I'm suffering some serious lag with QQ, and only QQ. It takes an average of 15 seconds to load a page, and occasionally it times out, or gives and "empty response" error. Ping is averaging 324 ms.

Interesting.

I'm not seeing any load spikes on the server, nor have I noticed any problems. Is the issue still persisting?

For the sake of curiosity, what browser do you use? Lord know I had some issues with Firefox a while ago regarding text family font before I went and downgraded Firefox.

I'm using Firefox, but QQ is working fine for me now.

The described symptoms sound more like network issues than server-side, in which case there's not much I can do about them. If there are more problems, though, please do mention them.

Sorry about the late replay, but still getting the problem, though on a lesser scale. It takes anywhere from about 10 seconds to 3 minutes for a page to load, and no other site has this issue. I'm using Chrome, but I tested it with other browsers.

The websites gotten faster, the slow down is barely noticeable at this point. And I confirmed that it wasn't a network issue: I had no slowdown when logged out, and suffered it when logged in at different locations.
