So I don't know about the mods or if it's just me, but I can get really angry and do things that I hate later think are out of proportion.
I propose that before permbaning someone you give them a tempban that could be upgraded to a Permaban Without Reinstating the individual. This could allow the moderation staff to approach it sometime later and review if a Permaban is actually necessary, or they caught up in the heat of the moment.
Another thing I noticed is that moderators delete text post get people banned I can understand that. However, I think that they should be put in a spoiler with a warning that this content is unacceptable. Exceptions would, of course exist for stuff like CP and similar. This would be mostly for text so that people can understand why the individual question was banned. It would also provide people with the context behind the decision.
another related suggestion would be to when banning someone post a link in the banned individual profile to the post that got banned. This would potentially stop mods, having to explain why individual banned, thereby Decreasing moderation teams workload.
i'm aware that some of this may be infeasible, however, these are intended to help.
