Ah, okay. Only just noticed this was last year so I deleted my previous post. Thanks for the update though. Was afraid something was wrong on my end. And then felt like an idiot realizing the date on the last post. Should've known better, found this thread through Google. Ugh.

Thanks, I've just floated around long enough that the near-universal dislike of finding necromanced threads on just about message board has settled in and given me a corresponding dislike of the idea of being such a necromancer myself unintentionally. One thing if I'd intended to do it, and I try to avoid doing at all for any reason as I've always figured it was better to err on the side of caution, but doing it by accident just feels very embarrassing, even if it did turn out alright.

Necroing threads gets forgiven if it's sufficiently on topic. bringing up that the site is down/going down on this thread matches that rule.

Thanks. Was the notice about the site going under maintenance by email or just one of those popups at the bottom of the screen? I'm on Hotmail / Outlook / whatever they wanna call themselves and it seems like the whole SB / SV / QQ forum line has been having trouble sending anything through to their users. And I didn't notice the popup while I was on SV. Rereading the Shephard Quest (Mass Effect / Iron Man Quest. )

Uh. Don't know if it's related, but I'm having trouble with Royal Road too. Fanfiction.net too. Tth (Twisting the Hellmouth) is still up though. Same hosting service, or at least using similar servers?

No way they use all the same servers discord in particular I think runs of there own (might be wrong though)
 
IRCCloud and Libera, the IRC Server QQ uses, are also down, it seems.
 
Error 500,520,and 522 are the ones I am seeing the most of on the sites im trying to use
 
Fanfiction.net just came back up, so it might be several separate problems, or the general incident resolving. Spacebattles was still down but ff.net was up. :shrug:
 
Is this some kind of cyberattack? did a server farm explode? what the hell is going on?
 
Considering the websites involved I doubt server issue's
