Sometimes, authors post links from outside to their QQ content, and we get a influx of new people hitting their profile, giving variations of "How does this site work", "I just want to read", "I can't see any of your stories", "hello", "Does this count as my one post"* if they didn't get verified properly.
*(It did not count as their one post.)
Instead of relying upon the author or lewd Samaritans to walk them through it, I was wondering about the feasibility of a requestable boilerplate post on a profile that stays at the top containing e.g. "If you can't see things, you need a post in a thread. For example, click this link to the Introductory thread and post "Arglblargle". If you still can't, click this link to an admin's profile andbribe them with cake pester them."
Is this feasible? Is it a Wait For XF2 (due in 2030) situation?
