The alerts on watched threads appear to be hit and miss?

I mean, I know some of them just haven't updated, but a couple I haven't gotten updates in at all and they've been updating every week or so, and only one has consistently given me alerts when new posts are in the thread. I don't know if this is a thing with my settings, settings for the threads in question, or a bug, so just kind of posting here so someone can help me figure it out?

IIRC if you've gotten an alert from a thread and you don't click on it you won't get more alerts from that thread until you do. So if somebody not the OP responds and you ignore it, then later the OP updates, you won't get an alert from the update.

If it's not that (and your alert preferences are set to alert you when someone posts in a watched thread) then IDK.

I sincerely hope that the alert options get fixed to only give alerts when the OP posts. This is a fanfiction/questing forum, not a regular discussion forum.

SB has it, as well, so it's not SV-exclusive. I was assuming that they had just messed with the alert settings, or something.

No, it's an addon. Xon made it, and he does the tech side of both, which is why both of them tend to get the same features.
