  • For prospective new members, a word of warning: don't use common names like Dennis, Simon, or Kenny if you decide to create an account. Spammers have used them all before you and gotten those names flagged in the anti-spam databases. Your account registration will be rejected because of it.

Would putting all of the Youtube videos in spoilers do anything about the lag? Just added a post, and I had forgotten how fucking unusable that thread is.
 
I would expect that videos in spoilers wouldn't load until the spoiler was expanded. Which seems like it should help. But you presumably already knew that and were asking for mod confirmation.
 
Yeah, that was my thought. Seems like it would work, but I wasn't sure. Figured I'd ask the mods/admins, and if it would help, ask them to edit the posts in the thread to spoiler the embedded videos.
