[Prologue]
You are a noble Shard, designated as [LIBRARIAN]. As the name suggest, you are in charge of being the ultimate archives that hold a vast, and I mean, VAST collections of scientific knowledge found in every world they came across.
Every scientific discovery made on each world, every principle being adhered to by each host species, every schematics of any techs that had ever built...all are all accumulated to you, be it by your metaphorical hand, or through your fellow Shards bringing some of their well-earned [DATA] for you to store within your personal "library".
Fast forward trillions of years into the present day, and here you are, after integrating yourself with your private planet, you and other shards' Cycle is now on what is known as Earth Bet.
Now, I would like to say that in other timeline, you connect yourself with a certain Ethiopian host named Mulatu Desalegn, a visionary who advocated for equal treatments of women, parahumans and also the LGBT community. He is also the same guy who has the misfortune of getting called Ogun The Butcher, thanks to the four-year civil war in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia which led to thousands of lives being blown into the wind. All the blood spilt are on his hands.
But here, thing has been taking a different turn. Initially, you're about to connect yourself to Mulatu while he was making coffee for him and his friends to enjoy when all of the sudden, a snake comes out of nowhere and bite him in the wrist. Story short, Mulatu is already dead before he and his friends can even reach the hospital.
Thus, you have no choice but to find a new host. But who?
Donovan Hyland – a 16-year-old Californian boy who got lost in an empty mall after it was closed.
Takeshi Yoshimitsu – A Japanese office worker who finds himself in a car accident during rainy season.
Simone Beauchêne – A French tourist who got kidnapped by a cult during her trip in Brazil.
