Don't get me started on how drivers like to drive anyone not in a car off the fucking sidewalks... my town has Bird rent-a-scooters, and I've had near-misses because drivers decide that they have the ultimate right of way all the time...

Bike lanes and No Stopping signs are good places to do a roadside pickup. They only need to wait a couple minutes for their passenger to come out.

I remember this one guy was ticketed for riding in traffic when he had to go around a car parked in the bike lane. They ignored his protest that he literally couldn't go in the bike lane. Later, he filmed himself deliberately biking into a cop car that was--wait for it--stopped in a bike lane.
