TDP's initiation will probably be some random non-white person. Like... Hookwolf's crew manages to kidnap someone and throws them into the Arena to fight TDP to the death for their freedom. Or on a Empire 'patrol' someone is found and TDP is there. Unless some seriously crazy shit happens.

Unlikely to be a parahuman. Possible, but unlikely.

TDP is an Abyssal who has accepted the Doom of All Things. Unless the time comes and people vote for something to avoid killing someone, TDP is going to kill someone.

Heart-Stopping Mien by itself is going to kill mooks in droves.

Receiving the Black Exaltation greatly changes a person. They have touched Death and come back from the brink. Theo might not have been a killer, but TDP is, by nature, the killyest thing to exist.

But there is a high chance that Hookwolf is going to pick a civilian to try to humiliate him and his Father in front of the Empire. Theo needs to bring the head of a expandable criminal to pass his initiation or he brings in cash or business. TDP cannot go empty handed, he either has blood on his hands or money in his pocket.
 
Here the list of trials of a gang initiation.
  • "Blessed in": Those who are blessed-in to a gang have older brothers, fathers, mothers, or other relatives who were already in the gang. rare
  • Initiation by cop : Kill a police officer. Rarely used today.
  • Being jumped in or beat in: Having to fight a certain number of gang members for a given period of time and being able to take the beating and fight back.
  • Sexed in: Used to initiate females into male-dominated gangs wherein the initiate provides sexual services for one or more of the established gang members.
  • Jacked in: Committing a grand theft/larceny.
  • The Line, Lined In, or The Gauntlet: "In this scenario, the individual being initiated either stands in the middle of a circle and must fight his or her way out, or must run between two lines of gang members." The initiate is expected to stay on his or her feet from one end of the line to the other.
  • Drive-By-Shooting: Commit a drive-by-shooting as assigned by the gang.
  • Russian roulette:Play Russian roulette and win. Russian roulette involves loading a pistol's cylinder with 1 bullet, spinning the cylinder, closing it, then pointing the gun to one's head and pulling the trigger. If the player wins, they're in the gang. If they lose, well... :D
  • Blood In, Blood Out:Blood In: commit a gang assigned murder to join the gang. Blood Out: commit a murder in order to leave the gang.
  • Catching a Flag: Fighting through a group of gang members in order to grab a flag which has been placed on the other side of them.
  • Circled In: Fighting through to the center of a circle of the all gang members.
  • Courted In: Being invited in, as are some doctors (for their medical skills which may be performed without reporting to the authorities), lawyers (for their legal advice, plea bargaining ability, and courtroom expertise), and electricians (many skills may be needed for gang enterprises).
  • Deeded In: Having sex with a female or male who has a sexually transmitted disease and not getting the disease.
  • Freein' Hoover: Picking up six pennies which have been thrown on the ground while being physically assaulted by several gang members. When all six pennies have been gathered, the beating stops.
  • Punched In: Being hit once, and very aggressively, on the sternum - right over the heart. Field Note: "Some gang members have been killed this way."
  • Broken in: You don't actually have to do anything here - just watch them disembowel, hack to death and generally mutilate a victim. More of a spectator job.

Don't spoil this for me, He bleeds a little, gets chest pains, feels tired, upset stomach and bloating with Appetite changes and a craving for chocolate, a powerful addiction for crappy romantic comedies.
 
A lot of people leave the parties earlier mostly to avoid drunk people, or the angry people.

Also Theo stamina is very low.

Also I think Theo should leave mostly to avoid angry teens.

Dean had stared in to the bathroom mirror for several minutes, "just wait, Theo Anders I will serve your heart on a silver platter for breaking mine." He gently placed both his palms against the cool glass and then a bright blinding light flashed against the mirror shattering it into the wall and sink...

A angry empath is a scary and crazy opponent for Theo to fight, because they can feel their victim's pain and emotions in a fight.

I actually can't tell if that's a good thing or not, my headcanon is that Dean is a screwed in the head sadist that enjoy's other people's pain.

His on and off break up with Vicky, pretending not to notice Missy's feeling,acting oblivious to Amy's crush on Victoria was his way of feeding on their anguish.

If Dean was honestly a great guy then he would not have became a ward because he can feel the victims of crime and the criminals he fight's emotions.

What? Just... what?

Regarding the first point, he's a person. He has emotions of his own. Thus, the on-and-off relationship.

Regarding the second point, he can sense emotions, not what the emotions are directed towards. He's not a mind-reader.

Regarding the third point, that's basically saying that anybody with some sort of Thinker power relating to other people and who engages in combat is a sadist. It's absurd.

Honestly, it sounds like you decided that he was a bad person, and then interpreted everything he did in order to support that.
