Before the move we had 100 threads(if i remember correctly) per page, now we have just 20. I would like to raise that number if we can so its easier to find slightly older threads with less digging.

It was at, like, 50 or a 100 at first, but pages were just so damn long because of it. Remember, SMF had smaller, neater thread titles, where as Xenforo's take up more room, because of avatar displaying and whatnot. Basically, SMF thread titles took up one line, where as Xenforo's take up 3-5 lines. Each.
 
Really want more, 50 would be a good start, 100 would be really stretched unless there's a way to just make Xenforo look like SMF which would be really nice.

That said the 20 we have right now is really really obnoxious.
 
Can't it be set to be user-customisable?

I understand that posts-per-page in a thread must be fixed, apparently, as XenForo has a shitty system for post links like that.

But if you can't let other purely UI stuff like this be user-dependent, why are we even paying for this crap?

xenforo is intentionally site-wide with its posts-per-page, ostensibly for SEO (Search Engine Optimization). But if it were possible to set it to a per user basis, Xon's fix/addon that changes the default permalink would definitely come in handy.
