Daemon Targaryen has been stuck in some sort of mod-facing thread control panel whenever they try to reply to threads since sometime yesterday. I'm making this thread because they literally cannot reply to posts, only send private messages or post on people's profiles.

I did some spelunking on the XF forums, and as far as I can tell, that panel is only available to moderators. Not being a mod might explain why they can't get rid of it, or post anything, but it's really something that needs a greater level of staff attention to solve.

I think we need to call in the admins alethiophile and ultima333

It's also possible that Daemon Targaryen has one or more of their posts 'selected' (there is a check box by poster's name and post time stamp on the bottom left side of the posts)... if they can find it and uncheck it, the box should go away.

For the first thing to try, I would select "Deselect Posts" in the drop-down labeled "Other Action". That might get rid of it.

Hello y'all, i am using the adblock version of chrome (adblock version since i am on my phone) and thus i am able to properly communicate like that.

alethiophile or a other admin still need to check for what is wrong since even if I can use this one for now, i'd rather not have to struggle when i am on normal chrome, but for now i can have access to the normal version with this.

Radiant Knight Thank you very much for your help.

The problem isn't resolved and it still need to be, but i am for now able-ish to deal with it.

But seriously, how is it possible the mods can't resolve the problem ?

I have never seen anything like this, and nothing unusual shows up on your account in our management tools. To try to fix it I'd have to dive into the database, and I don't have any rigorous idea of what I'd be looking for.

I'll try and look at it today, but no guarantees I'll be able to find anything.

What happens when you use a different browser? Like Firefox? Or a different device?

What sort of device (phone or tablet or computer) were you using when you had the issue?
And what browser?

I didn't used firefox.

I am on my phone, so no I don't use or even have firefox i think.

It's a samsung.

I meant are you able to down load Firefox or use a computer at a public library?
I live in Martinique, public library don't have really working computers for public use beside in the Capital.

And again it doesn't change much, i can comment when on adblock, but i still need to have the problem fixed.

Isn't there a way to, i don't know, reboot my account to make it able to be used without problems ?

And yes i already tried to destroy the cookies, log off and log in again, it didn't worked.

The reason I asked if you could download Firefox or use a different internet browser to see if it's something caused by your browser or something else on your phone.

If using a different browser fixes the problem, then it's probably not a server-side issue and thus not something I can fix from here.

The best idea I have is to try every way you can of clearing out stored data in your original browser. It might be that something got kept even with cookies cleared.

Well, at least try, you are a admin, so the only person who could do something.

So... Chrome now and before that the default browser with Samsung, which you had problems with.

Chrome is my default browser and always has been.
