What are some things you first saw in anime before seeing it in real life?

With so many things anime has shown us, there has bound to be some things you just first learned seeing it a show before actually seeing the real thing, either in YouTube or actually encountering jt IRL

To start off, for me it has gotta be molecular gastronomy

Oh, another one I remembered was the classic omurice.



Actually got to try this out for realsies a couple of years back.

It was pretty good. Simple, but I would honestly admit I'd rather have slightly more solid eggs, but I did like the creaminess of a good runny omelette.
