I always figured her to be a blonde, and with a more militarial uniform.

Probably. Particularly if she is a priestess of gods that demonstrably exist, and could show them to me. I often felt like a priest without a faith in my adolescence, and a friend of mine has recently noted that my mindset is still pretty religious.
