I am pretty sure there was a point where he did study cursed energy while he was in his clan in an attempt to fit in or gain it himself before he understood it was impossible , so he might have a decent academic grounding at the cost zero practical know how on how to apply it , CE is very intuitive so just because he knows about something and even has a theoretically full understanding doesn't mean he'll be able to do itAcademically he may understand CE, but he's in the same boat with fellow Westerosi in regards to using it, so... idk what might arise from that unique perspective
Glad you like the story.I'm so glad that the writing feels "native" to Westeros, like, the descriptions and characterizations feel so lived in. Idk how to describe it, but some other crossovers' prose feels too outsidery and Westeros feels like a sandbox or theater with moving pieces.
I love Harren and Lyra already, as I'm sure Toji does (lil tsundere nasty baby that he is owhhh). You seem to have implied that Lyra was a noble daughter, or maybe some upstart merchant house? That could be a vector later on for when Toji, err, Torhen finally can make waves in Westeros
I won't give a spoiler but if he had ten shadows, noone would be able to see the summoned shikigamis.Heavenly restriction or not. My man is a menace. If he wants it. Lordship is pretty much guaranteed as long as he participate in a war.
Does he have the ten shadows ? People could think he had the magic of shadow binding.
