Mage very much relies on the player and GM looking at the spheres someone has and determining what levels are necessary for various tricks someone thinks up.

The weirdness of magic still applies to the Technocracy. The aesthetic is just sci fi and you are likely to fill out paperwork afterwards for coming up with something on the fly your boss didn't have put through a review board, safety managers, and HR managers.

I fully believe that HR departments in WOD are the creation of the Technocracy
Instead of Paradox it's Paperwork for the Technocracy lol

Global Warming is the paradox backlash of the collective Technocracy, iirc canonically.
...And like that you can probably convince the Garou Nation to try their best in committing another genocide

likely not to work given Mages but I can see that just making a Garou fill up their rage meter and develop a new form of racism.

So was one of the market crashes as its payback on the Syndicate trying to give everyone homes
I did see a funny thing of them calling it an 'anomaly' in one of these books lol.
Also that's depressing that affordable housing is considered so impossible that it caused paradox like wow.

Always remember it is WoD so because of the writers nice things are automatically destroyed or perverted because of enforced shittiness

like how in Worm all authority figures are inevitably corrupt.

Or in marvel especially in X-Men humans will inevitably be evil and mutants will be pretentious assholes because the writers will never let the narrative move from Race War and Master Race.

They already are super racist to mages lol, they are "Namers" after all

I mean, Nuclear was pure green energy for the Union before sharing it was the masses fucked it up

More specifically, what caused a paradox backlash was them trying to make a profit off of it.

eh?
okay that's confusing-
More specifically, what caused a paradox backlash was them trying to make a profit off of it.
How? Like were they trying to make it free AND make money off it? Like they could have just put shopping centres nearby and gathered money over the years that way with a population motivated to feed themselves.
Edit:
Ahhh, it occurs to me that you actually have building costs that they were trying to make profitable on their end-that makes more sense.

Guys and gals,

Look at Gen Con, specifically the upcoming VTM event.
For those who can't open it or missed it, here.

6TH EDITION! They really are taking a new direction eh?

The World of Future Darkness campaign I am running for my friends has now seen a cousin my players believe is a Chinese spy using traditional Chinese medicine to save a player from dying of WereRat made neurotoxin

He proceeded to trip so hard he mentally time traveled into his ancestor's body to drive an Iron Needle/Nail sword into the heart of a faerie and tell a 1910s era child to invest in google/amazon/etc

Then when he got back to his body and endured the horrific pain of fairy made fire that burned his leg in the dreaming following into reality.

The Chinese mercenary engineer then gave him opium while sawing off his leg in favor of a wooden one they took off a magical mannequin

In other things i am considering a Malkavian SI who wakes up with a disco elysium style gamer system where he isn't sure if that is real or just his derangement while his Disciplines argue with him

What is the World of Darkness equivalent to Battlemace 40 Million? Planet of Shadows?

I'm open to anything given my blatant plagiarism for an Anti-Masquerade alternate history setting I've rambled about before.

Realm of Shadows.
That sounds painfully generic. Than again so is WoD by itself.
Then why point it out?
If you want over the top, then go for it. But then it won't be alt-World of Darkness anymore.

If you mean in-universe mockups, Pentex publishes World of Shadows games that run on Tailspinner System, through their Black Dog branch.
Revenant: The Ravishing (formerly Zombie: The Putrescence and Vampire: the Hidden); Lycanthrope: The Rapture; Warlock: The Pretension; Spectre: The Annihilation; Pixie: The Delusion; Human: The Protagonist; Fiend: The Pacting

They also have other games
Wrath, a Collectible Card Game based on Lycanthrope: The Rapture; City Fighter, based on Tellus' Urban Warrior Fighting Video Game Franchise; Deviant; Celtic Filth, Revenant in the Dark Ages of the medieval; Samurai Revenant, Revenant in the exotic lands of the East; The Axes and Arcana imprint, presumably founded to publish OIL-based products; Death Lord Games, a third party which published OIL games through Black Dog.

Also Troika Games' Frankenstein: Breadlust.

I have had the weird kind of fucked up thought of an Elder from the dark ages either paying a coterie or engaging in a heist himself that is based around Stealing a Gargoyle from a chantry due to the gargoyle having been made from his coterie members along with the gargoyle having issues in that its fractured memories include scenes of the same place from multiple perspectives on account of that. It could unfortunately go a very creepy way on account of gargoyle susceptibility to mind control making it so the Elder is essentially in a dominate/presence struggle with the Tremere Regent over control

Elder: And this is why you never ever trust the Tremere

Neonates: That thing used to be two people that got Unbirthed by German wizards?

Elder: People know of this process outside of the dastardly Tremere experiments?

Thinking about a NOT-World of Darkness inspired setting idea with racist furries and the existential comedy of being a melanated scots-irish werewolf. Followed by a break-down of the selection pressures about how such a thing came to be.

But it could make for an interesting story telling drama if it turned out African anthropes had a part in exporting legally-distinct-NOT-Kinfolk who inevitability interbred with actual kinfolk. And something about politically incorrect social commentary about how they literally have nothing tying them to Africa to the point even their anthropic bloodlines are European animals. Or New World animals if they're part of a tax evasion schemeCharokee.

This is in the same setting I made up where Gumiho ended the LA riots with mass-crucifixions and there's a semi-official werewolf ethno-state in Canada.

Speaking of werewolves. V5 just released their equivalent of the Tribe Books called Tribes of Gaia.

I did not get it because they've yet to post itt on DriveThru, but unlike the silence of the Shadowrun books I managed to find a review for this one. I dont like what V5 did to the Garou but I am morbidly curious about this book. Like watching the aftermath of a car crash

Hello,
Some of you wanted to know how one of the most awaited supplement for Werewolf the Apocalypse 5 presents itself, so here ya go. Fair warning that I am not good writer, I'm not responsible for any damage to your mental health, so enter at your own risk.

Chaptah 1: What is a Tribe?
Several short paragraphs about using tribes in Chronicles, what constitutes them, how they approach kinseeking, what Auspice means to them and a word or two about rare tribal septs and Caerns. The most important part of the chapter is about Patrons and relationships between them and Garou on various levels (tribal, pack, sept and Great Hunt Patrons). We find there some info on how werewolves enter communion and seek guidance of their Patrons: building altars with pictures, glyphs, candles, dreaming (with help of drugs and alcohol as well), tending to sacred places beyond Caerns, using radio signals (hello, Glass Walker) or paying attention to animals representing their Patron Spirit (you never know if it's just ordinary owl).
The essence of this part is new mechanic of Patron Clash. In short, Patrons have Ambitions and Desires – like PCs in Vampire and Hunter – Players can propose them or leave it entirely in the hand of Storytellers. Each desire (Patron can have more than one) is a tracker where Superficial and Aggravated damage represents how close it is to accomplishing them in the region. Patrons have three modes: Dominant, Normal and Recessive, representing their hold in the area. This influences difficulty of achieving successes to complete spirit's Desire. This system isn't meant to interfere with particular actions of the PC pack, but rather shows how things may operate on a larger scale. The fun begins when your pack has more than one patron and their Ambition & Desires clash with those of tribal/sept Patron.
Then we have some functions Garou can fulfill within the tribe (as recruiter or someone tending to tribal Renown), followed by what a tribe can do to their members in return. We get short paragraphs here about Renunciates – werewolves who abandoned their original tribe and joined another – and Forsworn, which is new name for Ronin. Then some words about Divisions (new name for camps) and how different tribes see the concept of Apocalypse itself. Last things are about altering tribes, removing them and creating your own. Things like establishing Division as mainstream of the tribe, deciding this or that tribe isn't present in the Chronicle and surrounding area, or just cutting them out from the game permanently. Like, Red Talons or Silent Striders never existed in your version of World of Darkness and that's it. The last thing – creating your own – is rather disappointing, because it doesn't give any substantial advice beyond things you could deduct from corebook: choose a theme, Patron, Favor and Ban, key Renown and Gifts. How to design Gifts and balance Favours and Bans? Not a word.

Chaptahs 2 to 12: The tribes
The soul of the supplement, it establishes Tribes of Gaia as WtA Players Guide. Each chapter is written in the same way: it starts with tag-words describing the tribe, then how the members see themselves. We have short section about Patron spirit (with an image of each and stories on how it was convinced/tricked to be tribe's Patron) and part about Tribal History. History paragraph is mostly about how that particular tribe sees most controversial periods, which means Impergium, War of Rage and Wyrmcomers*.
*Short notice – due to changed nature of the tribes in W5 and their lack of ties to particular human nations and groups, the term describes all Garou that came to America from Europe. Regardless of the tribe. There were Native Black Furies, Hart Wardens and Shadow Lords in America before colonisation, just as there were European Galestalkers and Ghost Council Garou.
Each tribe ha salso special periods or happenings that were important to its members, but not especially to another werewolves. Like Black Furies got French Revolution paragraph, but Bone Gnawers are shaped more by Yellow Turban Rebellion and American Dream, while Red Talons were heavily wounded by Chernobyl tragedy.
Then we go to the tribal customs: Rite of Passage and two additional unique rites/traditions practiced by members of the tribe. After that we have five rumours about them, like Black Furies can give birth to fully formed Garou warrior, Children of Gaia were the ones responsible for start of Impergium, Galestalkers hunt and kill their weakest members to keep the tribe strong, or Red Talons being able to literally smell Wi-Fi and secretly hating shoes (socks are acceptable). Some of them are frightening, others are funny, most look like conspiracy theories about each tribe. Then we have Five Reasons to Join the tribe presented as in-character points, followed by Five Motivations based on the tribe's tag-words.
Notable members of the tribe are given, from three to five characters of different Auspices with almost complete stat blocks. Main stats are simplified (General Difficulty, Standard/Exceptional dice pools), but we have full Gift and Rite lists along with special rules for them. Two or three paragraphs are devoted to their descriptions.
Among the Garou tells us something about each tribe's size and organization, nothing too detailed, but we are informed if the tribe is da biggest (Black Spiral Dancers, Cult o Fenris), large (Black Furies, Bone Gnawers, Children of Gaia, Glass Walkers, Hart Wardens, Silver Fangs, Shadow Lords), moderate (Galestalkers, Ghost Council, Silent Striders) or small (Red Talons, Stargazers) and how [dis]organised it really is, regardless of external appearance or reputation. Word about involvement in packs and septs, treatment of Renunciaties and how Auspices are interpreted within the tribe. Then three examples of tribe septs and its Divisions. Each tribe gets four Divisions and how they can operate as antagonists, plus how septs will react to their arrival on sept territory. Then we get three Archetypes for Player Characters (just like in corebook) and three possible Mentors, old veterans who can serve as useful SPCs and supporting characters.
The last thing is Attitudes Towards Other Tribes table, just like opinions in Legacy WoD. It describes what particular members of the tribe (each opinion is referenced by named character) think about Shattered Nation tribes, The Estranged (Black Spiral Dancers, Cult of Fenris, Moon Cults, Stargazers and Starving Remnants). The last part is about Others, which always means Pentex Fronts and Other Corporations & Stolen Moons. Each tribe has also strong opinion about one particular Other – usually vampires, of course – but Children of Gaia are more interested in Hunters, Galestarkers in other shifters, Ghost Council prefers sorcerers and magicians, for Hart Wardens it's the Fae, and ghosts for Silver Fangs.

Chaptah 13: Character options
New Advantages, Flaws, Gifts and Rites – from mundane (you look innocent!), to supernatural (you age like a wolf), there are also psychological, ritual, related to Patron, or wolf heritage. New Gifts for each Auspice and tribe, 6 mystical rites and 1 social.

Appendix: Loresheets
12 new Loresheets connected to certain tribes (main force behind them, but open to other Garou), philosophies or initiatives.
Convent of the Sacred Vigil – Black Furies nunnery in Carpathian Mountains trying to heal Harano and Hauglosk.
The Dead Purge – crusade (ie. Great Hunt) spearheaded by Silent Striders to kick vampires in the shrivelled nuts.
Gaian Traditionalism – philosophy concerned with upholding Garou traditions and tending to Caerns, septs and shelters. Strongly supported by Hart Wardens and Silver Fangs.
Gaia's Vengeance – Red Talon theurge's gig about using animals and elemental powers of nature against man and his creations. Get the local sharks to eat the rich in their blue lagoon!
Garou Enlightenment – it's Children of Gaia's idea rooted in human Renaissance about using democracy and merging Christianity, Hinduism and Buddhism with Garou beliefs. Even Glass Walkers and Bone Gnawers piss on that.
House of Austere Howl – you have friends, strong, wealthy friends. But they have certain reputation and it can drag you down in some circles.
Human Essentialism – Glass Walkers movement best described by "Part wolf and part human is bullshit, a werewolf is a human that can change into a wolf. Period." This irritates the Red Talons to no end.
Margrave Yuri Konietzko – you know the guy, the guy knows (and likes) you. His enemies don't like you.
The Many Armed Matron – now this is interesting, at first glance it looks like a movement of Shadow Lords to infiltrate other tribes and packs. But it speaks about rumours of a mysterious Patron – Octopus – and how it created secret tribe supposedly named Hidden Claws that hide among other tribes.
Riders of the West Wind – founded on the shame of the War of Wrath this group of Garou works with the West Wind spirit to connect other werewolves. Resurfaced after shattering of the Nation in honor to bat- and crow-shifters, who originally forged pact with the West Wind.
Shakespearean Scholar – in honor of New York philodox Wisdom-with-Whiskers, now presumed dead, these Bone Gnawer (and not only) Garou travel the USA to retreive his notes, letters and personal items in order to find lost Caerns, stories, legends and secrets. They hope Wisdom-with-Whiskers legacy can help young Garou in these tragic times.
The Weaver Digital - you deal with technology and Weaver spirits to fight the enemies of the Garou. Mainly Glass Walkers, naturally, but many theurges from other tribes are interested due to dealings with new spirits and issues such creatures create.
The whole book is lined with metaplot story about Low Growl, young lupus Garou and her pack friends (Korányi sisters), who try to initiate the Great Hunt against Zhyzhak, but rest of the werewolves do not give a fuck and invent hundreds of excuses why it's a bad/stupid idea – and prove why the Nation fell.

Ah, if only Get of Fenris was still in there.

Yeah still don't understand why they got the axe for their "controversial" norse aesthetics when the Red Talons are still playable. Playing as a caricature viking larper is far more managable in my eyes then the "let's genocide humanity, we weren't thorough enough before" faction

A liar would tell you it's because some neo-nazi groups adopted certain norse runes for their group, but that's a farcical answer because various neo-nazi groups have adopted just about any symbols you can think of (including, hilariously, the star of David). The real reason is because it's not about them being evil, it's about them being white. The Red Talons may be objectively worse by nigh every metric, but they don't wear symbols associated with a historically white cultural group, so the jabbering racists that purchased the IP don't care. Only an uneducated idiot thinks Norse symbols are exclusively Nazi symbols, but the maliciously stupid creatures that unfortunately own the World of Darkness just say "white cultural group = nazis." So the group that actually wants to commit mass scale genocide (omnicide practically) get a pass, but the group that wiped out their genocidal members get thrown under the bus for being snow simians.
