    It's honestly not that big of a deal, I've had to deal with far worse in some other fandoms, bearing some responsibility for myself while also acknowledging that you can't please everyone. As for gutting the story, it was mainly trimming down chapters that would have naturally had NSFW parts in them, but I wrote them as PG-13 as I could for the time. Now, I might be able to expand this story a bit more.

    The problem, besides the Karens with their bullshit about triggering that you gave a warning for. Is that this is a couple of steps away from someone having a panic about the description in a history text about what the Nazis did to the Jews so edits are mad to replace the oven with tanning beds, and the gas showers with saunas.

    This exact kind of experimentation happened in the past, it isn't pretty, but it's true and that should be more important then people that ignored the very obvious warning to not read if you can't handle it so they can get off on their fake outrage letting them feel like they matter.
