Nevermind about that pokemon idea, I just read a really bad story where the MC gets a free 255 affection Garchomp with max IVs on chapter 3. Now, I hate the idea of a linear progression, because my mind doesn't work that way, but this kind of start is kinda shitty since the story seems to be a battle-focused one.
Insert you into Worm, but this is an AU Worm where Wildbow found a ghostwriter on DeviantArt to write for $2 per 1000 words, then that ghostwriter found a ghostwriter who worked at DC comics for $1 per 1000 words, then that ghostwriter passed it off to JK Rowling's ghostwriter for $0.5 per 1000 words. There's more furries, more multiverse retcon, and JK Rowling. Story got dropped. That's the power of money!
So Obama is written "奥巴马", and some fanfics wanna use him but not use the name, so they change the "马" into "驴"... in which "奥巴驴" has no real meaning, but it reads as "ObaDonkey".
So the High Table in John Wick is written "高桌", so literally, right? But golf is written "高尔夫球", and the machine keeps translating the High Table as "the golf table".
Read a daughteru story and thought it was way better than petshop, so here's my pitch: "An omnipotent ichthyes offers a random tanuki a chance to isekai the multiverse, but tanuki can gain power from adopting daughterus, each time the affection meter improves an increment, gain +% copy of her matured vers. abilities, only 100% after full adopted daughteru incest"
Like, why so sloppily name the magical girl digimon "LovelyAngemon", like she digivolves from Angewomon, and "Angemon" is a dude! And they could have just named her Mahoushojomon or something damn it
Was reading this One Piece fanfic and everything was going alright, and at the climax of the MC destroying Marineford, author panicked because he's creatively bankrupt and can't write a new story about an OPMC, so he pulled out of his ass that the world of One Piece has a Heavenly Dao that destroys people who break the setting, so the MC's system had to destroy all the MC's powers, skills, and items. Ugh.
When isekai to a setting like DXD, you have to remember to plagiarize Puella Magi Madoka Magicka, so you can harvest delicious Serafall tears.
If you think about it, there are a lot of sexy digimon.
