If you were paid $1,000,000 in exchange for being able to only play 5 different video games for the rest of your life, which ones would you pick?

Tabletop Simulator
Europa Universalis 4
Super Mario Rpg: Legend of the Seven Stars
Star Fox 64
Command and Conquer: Tiberian Sun: Firestorm

Although being honest a million bucks is a really low price for not being able to play a lot of games with friends TBH. Like I'd still do it but I'd be mildly grumpy about it at least once a month :V

Lufia 2: Rise of the Sinistrals

The Ancient Cave by itself is endless hours of fun. The rest of the game is just icing on the cake.

Fallout New Vegas

The modding scene is insane, and there's Tale of Two Wastelands. Two games for the price of one!

Kingdom Hearts 2: Final Mix

IMO the ultimate refinement of the KH formula. Beating Sephiroth's ass never gets old!

Chrono Trigger

The ultimate RPG. IMO, it's never been topped.

World of Warcraft

As much as I love and hate the game, its the one I've put more time in than any other.

My 5 picks
1.) Mass Effect trilogy (legendary edition if specifieing one game)
2.) DragonAge series
3.) Modded Fallout 4
4.) Modded Skyrim
5.) Pokémon Fire Ashley fan remake of all regions

Hmm.

Path Of Exile 1
Witcher 3
Zelda Breath of the Wild
Skyrim with mods
Elder Ring

Touhou Games

That's it. That's the only game I want to play.

Terraria
Fallout new Vegas
Hoi4
Classic wow
Black souls 2 (Up to change If I think of another H game)

Shit, that's a tough one.

World of Warcraft (Wrath of the Lich King)
MapleStory
Baldur's Gate 3
Pokemon Alpha Sapphire
Super Mario RPG

WoW, MapleStory, and Baldur's Gate 3 all have a ton of replayability, Super Mario RPG is one of my favorite games of all time, and I wanted one Pokemon game since I like to replay one of them every year or two. Might replace it with Dragon Quest XI.
EDIT: Actually, I might replace MapleStory with Elden Ring or DQXI.

BG3 is a great pic ngl especially because of the modding potential that hasn't really taken off yet because the game is so new

Again:

HSR

Doom Eternal

Endless Ocean: Blue World

Dying Light

ZZZ

Probably... Minecraft, Tale of Immortal, Bloons TD 6, Slay the Spire, annnndddd (forgive me) League of Legends.

Frankly, for a million bucks I would play 0 video games. I don't play them much these days anyways and don't have nearly the financial security to turn down that money.
Buuut... If you're offering (with all the hardware included) I would go with:
Elden Ring
Bloodborne
Sekiro
Dark Souls 1
And a floater for one future Fromsoft/Soulsborne masterpiece. I don't want to have to pick between DS2 and 3

I was having trouble deciding what fromsoft game to pick but that is definitely a way to do. I can respect a man that knows what they want.

choices are;
Master Chief Collection
MechWarrior Online
Mechwarrior 5 Mercenaries
Destiny 2
And either TF2 or TF2
If Digital versions of TTRPGs counted as "videogames" my new choices would be;
Master Chief Collection
MechWarrior Online
MegaMek/MegaMekLab
And TF2

I'm putting Apex legends in my empty slot. After a long time of playing only strategy games, it's really nice to play something like this.

This is hard, but if had to chose off the top of my head, it would be:
Elden Ring
Cyberpunk 2077
Fallout New Vegas
Red Dead Redemption 2
And it's a toss up between the Sims 3 or Stardew Valley for the last slot. Fallout New Vegas by itself has about 2000 hours spread over Xbox 360, PS3, and PC. Most of those hours on the my dead Xbox, but there is no way I can say I won't ever play again.

That's over 80 days of play time inside a fictional world. Also, one ( or two) of these entries is not like the other... but the other 4 I always have installed. I thought about fighting games like Super Smash Bros Ultimate or Ultra Street Fighter 4, but unless I play in person, I usually drop them. Online fighting games has come a long way, but shit talking your friends is half the fun in fighting games for me. Half of my play time in Rdr2 was from the Red Dead Online version, but it was literally only because you can twirl handgun like Ocelot from the Metal Gear Series.

Speaking of, I would put the Metal Gear Solid collection, but those 3 games were the first time I ever completed a game 100%. Love the story, the action, and especially the scenes, but it playing it isn't fun as much as I remembered. But the MGS series played a huge fact into my love for gaming, so I couldn't at least give an honorable mention.
