    I loved the game but it didn't inspire me to write a story for it immediately because it was good enough that I didn't really have anything I wanted to "fix"

    I wound up writing the original fantasy story The Soul Engine instead, which was inspired by Karlach's Infernal Engine

Do I have to torment myself over and over again because you want to beat the message of how no one has a happy ending in Night City into my head?     I do think Cyberpunk2077 would have been way better if you were just a random person exploring a sandbox. It might've been a lot harder to code or something, but Skyrim Except It's Cyberpunk would be super freaking cool

    tbf, V was already a huge breakaway in terms of Player Choice and Customization compared to CDPR's other extremely successful game, Witcher 3. Where you play as Geralt and only Geralt and have absolutely no choice in the matter.

    I don't think CDPR is the type of company to make games where you're just a random nobody. That's Bethesda's thing.
