Questionable Questing

I kind of have the idea that this is a world that is kinda-Earth, mainly the Anime setting, has influences from the Adventures manga, and the background is the games. So this is why there's a Yellow living alone in Viridian Forest with some old uncle and she gets taken away by the SI for the sake of "she'll get to go to school with kids her age" or some thing,

but she'll also have that Viridian Power that lets her know what Pokemon are thinking and heal them and level them up/evolve them, like in the manga, and I guess this means Lance kinda also has that power and so does Giovanni/Sakaki... damn Sakaki is such a cooler name for him

Anyway, so there's some local goons that basically think it's a good time to knock the gym without the SI's parents there, since the SI is unproven, and like they have Team Plasma (Ghetsis variety) backing, and they're trying to use this chance to take over half the city

And then the other gym in the city is a steel/electric dual-type gym, where as the SI's is a fairy-type, so it's sort of a "old vs new" conflict there, with most of the older pop liking the SI's gym, but like there's new tech companies that are on the side of the other gym, like Telescreen and Macro Net (Poke Jobs in Sw/Sh), Silph Co. (maybe), and parody names like Pineapple Computers and Smoorgle/Alph-Bet/Unown Inc

Maybe also some school jocks bullying type that you'd see in those 80's/90's hollywood high school films... but I'm not sure about this one because it's a little too simple? Chinese stories use "rich second generations" but the SI is basically that, having inherited a gym

Perhaps the SI is the poor third generation type?

from the Fula City local Pokemon Research Pavilion, it can be seen that the main drivers of the economy is medical care, so it could be that a Johnson & Johnson parody we name 'Gropius & Gropius' after Ghetsis's surname has its local executive's son being the "new money" jock bully type

Yeah, that's also a good idea, that the SI's great grandparents were one of the four founding families of Fula City, but the family's fallen to ruin by SI's parents' generation, and now SI is really poor and has debts, but also SI's cousins/uncle/aunt think SI is hiding money and wants to take the gym from the SI and sell it for money

SI could start the story dead and "resurrected" due to insertion, but SI doesn't know who killed them, and these people could all be suspects,

The Wind Festival is coming up in the city and the Mayor proposed an exhibition match between the two gyms to settle disputes, but it's actually a chance for the city to settle on which gym gets demolished and basically everyone wants to screw up the SI

And basically we're one year away from anime canon starting, so this year, Red, Blue, and Leaf set out from Pallet Town, and Red is Ash's cousin, Blue is Gary's older brother, and Leaf is the girl next door, who is also another of the SI's childhood friends who promised to marry the SI when she grows up

Actually since Unova is basically the region next door, the SI could start out with Elesa and Risa as girlfriends

and then this can get into Risa being the girl next door growing up with the SI and Elesa knowing the SI when they weren't gym leaders but just heirs of gym leaders and that's why they got together, and then Elesa is now working hard to as a model to save the economy of Nimbasa City because it's not built its big attractions yet

Oh Lillie could be because there's Aether Foundation cooperatives in Fula City, since Hawaii is like a stone's throw away from California. Since Lusamine is working with Team Rocket too later on, then that could bring the OPMC into Kanto, or at least to Alola first to groom Lillie.
