And then we can add a flavor where 80% of people treat pokemon as tools, like even parents have a favorite child, so if someone has only one pokemon, they might treat them as a friend, but three? six? When they aren't just pets but power, wealth, fame, and authority?

And then we could have "national"/region level politics dominated by the Elites, who each might not have a criminal team behind them but could have various organizations, noble houses, chaebol families, and underground movements

And all of that bleeds into being problems for the MC, so maybe the MC starts a Team because even with god level pokemon MC is just one person with a massive harem... Maybe tentatively called Team Questionable, and the goal is human-pokemon sexual relations, which is illegal in most regions

Anyway, since its a shitty OPMC, system gives the MC maxlevel aura (fighting?), maxlevel psychic, maxlevel viridian power (grass?), maxlevel magic (fairy?), maxlevel null (normal?), max affinity to all pokemon types, max bonus when training, maxed all skills like grooming and cooking and massaging and sex and stuff, and observation/etc abilities

And then after giving the OPMC everything the system could be like, "Fuck this shit I'm outie", because its just a narrative device not a character (I hate it when systems or omnigods become characters that limit MC)

Maybe before this, we can have the MC being bullied, and the first starter MC gets is this little azurill, and MC's been getting dunked on for like the last whole year

And that azurill is like the child of the last of the MC's parents' pokemon that stayed at the gym, so like MC hates that all there is is this weak azurill but its parent is what has kept MC from homelessness or death so far, but now the MC ran off into the mountains to get a second pokemon and nearly died
