How much independence do they have? Is it master slave? Or is it more of a give and take were the magic has them connected to each other?

Varies by Bloodbound and Sorcerer. Some do what I call the Andrew Tate. High quanity, high burnout of soul and destruction of Vessel's flesh. Sorcerer themselves burn and writhe with powers that eat them alive from the inside out. Others have one or two or a small group of elite Bloodbound vessels to invest and impregnate with the essence they want.

The bond can be ruinious for the chosen girl but in other cases its prepared in advance with careful instruction between the Sorcerer and Vessel for the Sorcerer's fire and the bond does create emotional connections between the Sorcerer and Vessel. You might have a main harem of demon god posessed consorts and then a horde to rip apart for essence bursts without connection

How does society respond to these sorcerer's? Are the feared monsters to be hunted? God kings to worship? And in return if they do rule, what do they want exactly? More power? More woman? A quiet laboratory were they can experiment in peace? How does the magic affect the mind? Does it make them more greedy? Unhinged?

God Kings and feared demon lords. The magic is based on passion and will, it inspires conflict and greed and other grasping negative traits. Promoting action and violence and pursuit. It wants to be used. Unhinged isn't properly that, they can be, but its more about the growing persona it inflicts on them

So kind of like a sith lord with the cackling laugh and evil plans about power and freedom, but a little less stupid? Sounds cool.

A Sorcerer is pushed to exert their will and shape the world, while their bloodbound vessels start to focus on the interests of the Sorcerer and became fetishized but in turn they influence the mind of the sorcerer's dreams
