I'm thinking demons actually start with guns and move towards melee weapons the strong they get. The idea being the more powerful they get, the more they understand the whole reality manipulation thing hell has, the more they take advantage of that in a fight.

My thinking with overlords is that its very rare one of them actually dies, but since they are directly tied to their territory and land by damaging it, you can directly damage a demon's power.

Are Overlords creating ecosystems? Food, water, soil, weather? Just because you can't die doesn't mean starving isn't atrocious

I'm thinking they sort of have an impact on the weather and environment if their strong enough, like say Lucifer, but for most its pretty negligible. If an over lord gets weaker what happens is they just slowly lose control of their territory rather than it falling apart into dust.

Yeah, that's what I'm thinking too. Lilith is considered the lawbringer since her fief was the first one to be peaceful and functional, inspire entire legions to copy her methods to try and mimic her success. Her big sin is less seduction and more the endless search for perfection. She arrogant and prideful enough to try and chase after perfection even knowing its impossible.
