Masters of body and soul. It can be weird. Some dread, others love, others do both. Some negotiate with them and others keep them contained with pleasures and space

So obviously body modification is a big theme here, but how far do both sides take it? The monster girls and breeding farms is self explanatory, but a society obsessed with will power and control could be fun to explore too. Maybe the psionic knights could become obsessed with the idea of looking as normal as possible with the idea of removing temptations, in response to seeing what the monster bimbofy into.

Big on military look and clean presentation. Your talk of sacred breeders makes me think of bimbos and bimbois who are designated corruption reservoirs and bear the brunt of mutation directed by the Garden Sorcerer kings and queens

Maybe the war going on is causing more breeders to be needed and its causing issues? Maybe breeder's have to be specifically chosen for their ability to handle mutations, and that their having to lower the standards to keep up with the war causing new and stranger mutations to appear in the general population?

Out of control breeders or ones that don't last as long. And I think of the state of tensions between the Gardens and Star Lords as peaceful except constant disputes and conflict. It is a strange half war and mutual existence

I thought the star people were full on genocide the mutated freaks out of existence before were infected? While the garden people thought they were brainwashed authoritarians, that are cutting off a part of themselves out of fear?

I don't do that stark a clash. I prefer complicated, messy, and varied. The relationship between the Star people and Gardens is intricate. With some Gardens allied to different parts of the Star People and others not and so on. And different periods of war and trade of ideas and goods

So less all out war and more two very different civilizations, trading, fighting, and mingling over a long period of time, and the affect it has on both?

I was about to ask how far away they were from each other and how difficult travel is between them. If their far enough away direct conquest would be impossible so instead you would get periods of migration between the two.

The planet is all Gardens in different places, the Star Lords live in fortified cities with carefully cultivated forests and mountains and other useful things sculpted to serve their needs.

Civilization versus savagery? Cities versus forest? Man versus nature? Some fun concepts to play around with, maybe the growing cities is putting more and more pressure on the gardens, give a sense of urgency to the conflict. As the cities advance and gain more technology, eventually their going to completely surpass the gardens.

Or the Gardens will overwhelm the cities as they grow from underneath. Its a source of tensions in diplomatic relations

Side note, doing something interesting with Skegosi in Game of Thrones D&D quest. Battle slave woman but as a courtship. Where red sonja amazons, and witch women are tamed and collared but as part of a intricate courtship

Who's doing the collaring and the taming?

Its a slave marriage built on exchange of duals, boasts, promises made beforehand to set up the conquering and training of the warrior slave woman as a gesture of dominace from the victirous male warrior. But I could also open it up equally to femdom at the same time
