What are regular Chi powers like compared to Ninja blood clan corruption?

The idea I had that would go along really well with that, is that their used to be basically a free for all as everyone fought and killed to be the emperor until the shogun basically put a stop to that a few odd hundred years ago.

Yes to everything. lol. but I do definitely like the idea of different foods, dances, and martial arts styles, each being unique to a clan. With food there will be a big emphasis on spice, fatty foods, and sweets, since ninja have a much stronger sense of taste and smell.

As for family relations, most ninja are female with males being born 1 for every 5 or ten females, and usually harems are formed around them due mostly to their rarity. Which isn't a problem in the long run since the child of a ninja is always a ninja, so ninja are not restricted in the guys they can sleep with.

Peasant, nobles, even emperors, many songs and story have been written about Ninja's passions with a big emphasis on how short they usually are, as a ninja will prioritize their family and liege over any potential romance.

Right now I'm just brainstorming. I'm not going to do anything or make any decisions until after the move and I have free time again. But if I do start it, I'll definitely put one of my current projects on hold. Probably Miss Dallon as I decided what to do with it.

A baseline chi user? I would need to figure out a solid fighting and rpg system first, but the baseline would be basic enhancement of the body, so the ability to be harder, stronger, faster for limited periods of time.

Some basic proficiency with a clan's weapon, which is considered at the very least the ability to wiled it against at least a dozen normal soldiers without chi. And some basic spells like a firework sized fire ball, invisibility, walking up walls, with again a lot of the training and spell types depending on the clan they belong too.

How you want Oni ninja to differ in awesome from Naruto Ninja

A much bigger emphasis on physical fighting and transformation. The ninja have their demon from they can transform into and various clans have various animal forms they can take.

I am getting Toriko gourment demon vibes. So what would a top demon ninja clan head be like?

If you do transformation I'd have the demon forms feature as the main element of their ninja arts and powers. With greater demonic form evolutions for stronger ninja. And it is this transformation art that makes Ninja stand out from other chi users.
