What are some of the bad ones and ah, Avatar had chi flows for energy bending and Tai Lee stopping people from moving. I'd go for physical enhancement of different kinds with Chi here

One of the things I really liked about the older Avatar was that the spirit realm was this weird almost lovecraftian place and even the Avatar himself stepped lightly when he traveled through it. And that the spirits in it where neither good or evil, or really even human.

While with Korra you had the bad spirits and the good spirits and their trying to kill each other, and that was about it.

Like this shit was amazing, and korra just could never recreate any of the magic this had.

Question, do you want Benders to also have physical Chi or no? As in physical strength and speed boosting martial arts

I mean it would make sense. Toph's like what 12 years old? In the beginning and yet even then she was able to tank entire freaking boulders to the face like it was nothing. Able to hit hard enough to make grown men fly around like rag dolls. That chi physically enhances them, is a nice explantion for all that. Plus how some of the older people in the setting are still able to move as fast and as strong as they do.

Oh hey, actually I have a question. Right now I'm trying to get a good beginning which is something I've always struggled with. Right now I'm debating with two options. The first one is from katara's perspective, she's been married to Zuko for a couple months now and the whole harem is finally settling into the royal palace.

Inbetween some snippets and hints at the tension and politc's behind the sceen, you get introduced to everyone and their dynamic's in the harem along with katara having a bit of an identity crisis as she's still not comfrotable being in the firenation or having this much power.

You can make the bending Chi augmentation fit the flow of the different bending arts and the internal Chi arts focus on different forms of physical martial arts power for different movements and strengths

The second one is still from Katara's perspective because her whole fish out of water thing going on is a good way to introduce everything to the readers and has her and the harem on a boat touring the colonies and all of the firenation territory doing basically a victory tour introducing themseleves and playing politics, as an important treaty is about to be signed.

I like the second for showing the differences in your take on Avatar and allows for build up to assassins attacking the royal family. And for Jet, I'm thinking Ursa and Azula conspire to have Zuko get him as a gift to Katara as a femboy bodyguard sex slave for the royal harem

Basically there's a huge debate right now about wither the colonies should stay in the fire nation since after a hundred years of settlement they consider themselves firenation citizens and not earth kingdom, and plus the earth kingdom is still a decentralized mess at the best of times, so a treaty was signed with the most fair option of basically letting the colonies vote for which country they want to join

Anyway just background political stuff, and inbetween shaking hands Zuko and his harem uncover a plot by the earth king to falsify votes. But the real meat and potatoes of this early chapter is Katara slowly learning what it means to be a concubine and how to act and present herself along with starting to get her feet wet with politc's.
