But with June specifically, I wouldn't call her passive, its more than unlike all the other girls in the harem she's not really interested in the complicated power plays and politics. She just wants her husband happy, more children to spoil, and for the fragile peace of the harem to stay unbroken.

You play as a hero who's thing is willpower, being clever, and that's it. Your the guy who slew the demon lord who was the father of the two half demonic twins who capture your wife to hostage you into doing their bidding and its billed as choosing to fall to darkness. But you fucking suck. There's a shitty random roll system to decide outcomes for key events that would build your XP and your a joke.

Dialogue can be interesting and the Twins have hints of deeper character but the girl is a femdom edger and the guy is a wife stealer. And it has the problem I fucking hate with all these games. Maybe it gets better after the first act is done and they move onto act 2 and 3 but this is why Hurik for Frozen Dreams is being designed around domination and conquest as a matter of will and depraved desire. My thing with Hurik is its not hard to grope and enslave and break. What's hard is finding the breaking point and avoiding it

I mean for me it doesn't even need to go for all that. If you want to do cuck or ntr shit, then do it. just don't be boring about it. Explore the main character, his insecurities, his strengths, his ambitions. Make him a character. Show the audience why he does things, why he isn't just a puppet for them to self insert into. In the wise words of megamind, its all about presentation.
