With Hurik an idea I had was having Ygrite become addicted to bimbofication potions while growing more confidant in challenging Hurik's degradation and control of her as their relationship grows stronger but its still uneasy. I'm wonder what Ygritte needs to fully surrender to Hurik, and what Hruik needs to finally be vulrable around Ygritte and for their relationship to finally be settled.

Allowing him to collar her and infest her with power like his Dire Wolf tearer. He's going to infuse his wolf as his pet with magic and if she accepts the Investment she accepts being a pet. As for Ygrite, a talk with his mom and Ygrite challenging him on what he feels for her.

A very intresting and fucked up relationship and yet with how these two people are it might just work for them.

I have an idea to have the Seven Towers where magic is taught start up a fraternity and sorority who's job is to train and process mage girls into trophy wives serving the elite of King's Landing or those who want a sexy mage wife as part of gathering connections for the girls through the college and setting up careers

Not everyone goes for it and the way Enchanment works is a two way street. Brief surges of commands on someone are easy. Try to make a father kill his daughter or someone's best friend spy on them? And it will backfire horribly. The better enchantments work via forming a connection and the enchanter giving something.

Like say vows of husband or Lyanna exploring incest fantasies and a queen's natural authority owed from her subjects. It is a interaction where the stronger the enchantment, the tighter the bond and that alters behaviors for the enchanter as well

And you ever wanted to do a fantasy setting?

Hmm, a couple times. I think I would start with an urban fantasy first. A lot less world building required and has a lot less set up. Plus a key part about urban fantasy is introducing a normal character to the super natural world, thus giving the author a handy excuse to dump some exposition to the readers. Something a lot harder to get away with in a purely fantasy book.

What sort of urban fantasy would you like?

Sounds kind of stupid, but I would love to do a lovecraftian one. Not in the sense that there's giant squids everywhere, but in that magic is this very dangerous alien thing. The main characters and the readers come in expecting for this to be this magical adventure or some sappy twilight romance and they got stuck in the deep end of a horror movie and have to fight their way out of it.

Would you like vampires and werewolves and all that?

if I did vampires I would definitely take inspiration from the origional stories. Stupidly rich, stupidly powerful immortal beings hiding in the shadows and feasting on the blood of the innocent with no morals or any sort of personalitly to hold them back.
