Basically what i'm thinking is when Gloria gets corrupted she retreats into the dark and goes to great lengths to hide how far she's gone while David openly emphasis it and the futher he gets the more he shwos it off.

Gloria is starting a cult but trying to disguise herself as a doctor for the Mox. And how to snag Lucy and the gang into this?

Well I mentioned Maine starts working with Gloria, because he decideds to check on her after hearing some rumors and in the process starts getting involved in her gang and with him you have the rest of the gang as well.

Lucy and David's relationship was formed on her being a crazy as fuck chick riding with him down the street on that medical stretcher. How does their relationship change here with David's mentor and his attachment to the Mox?

Here's a thought, what situations push David to crisis he starts using demonic cybernetics from his mentor, turning into a cyber psycho demon?

With lucy and David I still think you sort of get like canon, with David the star eyed newbie and Lucy the grizzled vetern teaching him the ropes, the difference is with Gloria still in the pitcure, david won't get as obssed with Lucy and the gang as a replacement family and will bond with them a little bit slower.

But with David cyber psycho path, as Gloria's power grows, she going to start making some bigger and harder hitting enemies, expcially when she starts making her own cybernetics thus getting the attention of the corpo's. And as the enemies get more dangerous david is going to push himself to be stronger and stronger to respond.

You want to make characters he grows attached to just to brutally kill them or are you avoiding that part of Cyberpunk? But if you did, the theme I imagine would be the way to avoid tragedy of canon is the Demonic rites of the Box. Which makes David and Gloria and the Mox and the gang into monsters.

I'm thinking their will be the occasional death and dismemberment and that's the thing that really pushes Gloria and david towards the box to make sure it never happens again.

Need to traumtize the fuck out of Lucy as is tradition and having Gloria and David grow to taking over the Edge runners with the Mox to take over the city from the corpo

I read a bit of Eragon when I was in junior high, but i got pretty bored and fell off around when Eragon was training with Arya in the magic elf forest with a couple other mentor elves helping, and it was exploring his culture shock and him starting out as a wide eye super fan and slowly getting pretty jaded about elf culture in general. Plus some political stuff in the background.
