Boom, now that's actually pretty cool and useful. That has interesting story implications. The more he uses his power, the more effective of a leader he is but the harder it is for him to empathize or communicate with others, turning him almost robotic. There you go, now you have a character arc that makes sense.

Ren's emotion suppressing makes him blend in with the grim, that's kind of cool. But something else that would be really cool? He get his arm broken and he snaps it back in place and keeps fighting without even flinching since he uses his semblance to ignore the pain. You can make these powers cool, you just need to experiment around with them instead of making some basic moves and only ever following that.

But if you let me I could rant about Roosterteeth's writing for hours. lol.

Anime homework. But anyway, what is Salem's Semblance and what is Cinder's

I think Cinder can keep her canon semblance, maybe with a few modifications. I like the idea of her being able to not only control and shape her fires, but also the object she's heating up, treating it like molten glass she can change into different shapes. Some symbolism there about how her attempts to manipulate always end in explosions and destruction.

With Salem, I'm debating between some kind of biological manipulation representing her desire to be a mother clashing with how controlling and self destructive she is. Or some kind of emotional manipulation one, where she knows the exact right thing to say to fix the current problem or mood with the down side being just because a persons not made at you anymore doesn't mean the problems been fixed.

So she can cause massive fires and volcanic explosions with Cinder's power?

Nothing wrong with being extremely porny. I could combine the biological manipulation with the monster mother part, but then I would have an in universe excuse for her to vore Jaune and that's not a fetish I'm into. And goddamn is that a weird sentence.

Moving on from the really weird fetish. lol. I'm kind of wondering how Jaune should rise to power. Now obviously in Atlas they still probably have political parties that support monarchism, especially since their old monarchy was abolished by their greatest king that led them through the great war rather than a revolution. Plus I'm pretty sure a lot of the old nobles kept their land and power.

So you already have a base of support, the big issue is that Vale really prides itself now on its lack of military and personal freedom, two things that are really holding back any restoration. Now if the attack of Beacon happens sort of the same way with the robot army Atlas was showing off turning on them, combined with a bombing and eventual attack by white fang then a horde of grim...

If you have Salem pushing so the attack is devastating, but Jaune is able to sweep in and save the day and then people will be angry rather than scared. they'll want revenge against Atlas and the fanus, and you take advantage of that with Jaune's hero status and making sure during the attack to kill of most of the old political elite and now you have a potential restoration of the monarchy.

This is just the canon plan slightly manipulated. I have a couple other pretty fun idea's that'll show just how ruthless Salem can be.

Arming anti fanus groups and sending them after more peaceful or liberal political groups, thus destroying their power and making being anti fanus a threat to the political elite and something they'll be forced to legislate against.
