Questionable Questing

For the demon goddess I'm still looking for a good image, but I'm kind of thinking she has a human version of herself on the forum and an otherworldly version that's her true self. I'm just trying to find the right balance between sexy and eldritch abomination.

The possession is scary but the demon matron comforting. Confuse readers. The invasion of the heroine's body is horror yet the demon shows morals and growing concern for the mom.

I like that. These demons are terrifying and otherworldly and the things they do to people's bodies and mind is the right mix of disgusting, uncomfortable, and sexy. And yet they genuinely mean what they say. they want the mother and son to enjoy their pleasure and they genuinely see sharing it as a good thing for both of them.

Yeah, no Clive Barker. I love him, but he's a pretty sick guy sometimes. Don't know if you know this but he was involved in the bondage scene in the eighties, so a lot of the cenobites are based on direct experiences he had with heroin addicts that were so far gone in their addictions they started picking their skin off in chunks and didn't even notice.

So slutty bimbo demons. I like the idea that they worship fire a lot too. Not because their attracted to the destructive potential, but because the ancient civilization was obviously obsessed with fire and the ability to control it since it was essential to their survival and because what i'm thinking is that their a civilization that were just starting to learn about iron when they were wiped out.

So bronze age for the most part, and since they worshiped fire and inserted that into their worship of the demons, the demons made being lit on fire to be apart of their rituals. Its not only a trust thing, walking directly into the flames with the faith they will protect you, but its also about burning away the old you and being reborn.

Fire as a source of cleaning and rebirth. As a tool and focus of a community. As a safe haven against the dark.

These are very compassionate family oriented helpful demons. Providers. Clearly a society when you look past the blood and internal iron of communal love

The ancient civilization had too, and they inserted those beliefs into the demons through their worship. basically the demons before meeting humans were just pure emotion and they had no concept of pleasure or love which they learned from humans, and in return they've grown incredibly protective and almost selfish in exploring new pleasure and forcing humans to join them.

I like this. It's a reverse of the eldritch corrupted humanity. Humanity corrupted and mentored the eldritch. Sad pathos here with the demons desperate for a new priestess and king ever since the civilization died. No friends and lovers. No family.

How will the body and face of the mom change and what powers the son get? All demonic cyber augs?

I'm getting tired and I'm going to have to think about that question for a little while. Before all the powers I had planned was based on Cyberpunk specifically, and I'm going to need to decide how different technology for this setting first. But generally my idea is the augs getting so integrated into the body its indistinguishable from regular organs.
