Questionable Questing

When Mark learns Viltrum martial arts, it places a big emphasize on slamming into your opponents since if every part of your body is indestructible, then as long as somethings hitting your opponent it'll hurt them. One of their signature moves is literately running and shoulder checking through people and walls,
Andy333
Andy333
Building up enough momentum to charge though enemy lines and breaks them up for reinforcements to mop up. Since once they get fast enough literally being in front of a moving Viltrum's like getting hit by a train so Viltrum martial arts is about building momentum and maintaining it.

Don't forget elbows and knees and grapples. Get a hold on someone and twist their neck off or just start punching and kicking them to death. I'm seeing rocket punches and spinning through flying saw blade kicks.

Now this is DC so we can focus on having the Viltrumite's be uniquely awesome with challanges that can fight them. It puts more empathies on the martial arts and battle sense and endurance and less on they are the strongest nothing can beat them. Which makes them more cool.
Now Debbie, after the Flaxen invasion she talks to Luthor to help her work with Nolan to change her.

She's going from stay at home mom to what? How does she develop power and agency for her family and importantly, herself? She's Nolan's wife and Mark's harem queen and the girls mom but what is she becoming to her goals and dreams?

And when Mark becomes a Viltrumite, does he get taller then normal people? Is Nolan taller then normal people? Little weird details like that
Andy333
Andy333
I'm not sure about Debbie because she isn't really sure what she wants in the beginning. Her desire to be strong isn't because she has a goal or a dream outside of the home, but a fear that she won't be able to keep up with her family in the future.
Andy333
Andy333
And for Mark and Nolan, i don't think they need to be tall or overly muscular. I'm really liking the idea of them just being subtly off in normal interactions, stuff like not flinching or reacting to loud noises or stubbing their toe against a drawer and feeling nothing. Of trying to play wrestle or punch them and them not moving despite pushing down with all your weight.
Andy333
Andy333
Of Nolan having to make sure he's never on top of Debbie when they go to bed, since she can't move him off no matter how hard she tries.

So the desire can evolve. Going from fear to wanting things for herself. What kind of power to give her with the viltrumite treatments? Does she want mind control, energy blasts? And has she gets involved with Mark's growing ambitions, she starts wanting queendom. To become the empress of earth.

Ah, while Mark gets into being on top and abusing that. And fair on your points.
Andy333
Andy333
I kind of imagined slaves taking on the administrative and statesmen role in Viltrum society, while they of course could focus entirely on being warriors, so I imagine other than sexy stuff and ensuring their loyalty any upgrades and modification made to slaves where about either letting them process information faster, ways for them to spy and gather information,
Andy333
Andy333
Or special pheromones along with AI implants that study heart rate and micro expression's in the face that comes together and acts like low level mind control as not only do you know if someone's lying and how they feel about your words, but the pheromones act like a a couple beer's to help grease the conversation further.
Andy333
Andy333
Its why many puppet leaders or former enemies were made slaves, outside the ceremonial and emotional impact of course.

And Lex is helping Debbie further enhance this and add other bits. Do you want to give her energy blast powers to fit her queen role? Stand out from Mark. Debbie is becoming a politician and in the wake of the Flaxen invasion starts gathering support for Nolan which later turns into support for Mark's desires for conquest.
Andy333
Andy333
I'm kind of liking the idea that's she more an assassin. Kind heart warming mother on the outside, cruel manipulative queen on the outside.
Bob is bob
Bob is bob
Assassin you say. There are ways to play with this. Poison powers? Toxin generation, mistress of a thousand venoms? All kinds of nasty high tech weapons hidden in her dress?
Oh, assassin viltrumite catsuit armor?
Andy333
Andy333
Debbie and the word cat just immediately brings to mind this infamous meme. lol.

Bob is bob

Playing into the tiger assassin theme is good and her becoming a head slave pet to Mark in a way she wasn't with Nolan can show how Mark and Debbie embrace the Viltrumite side
Andy333
Andy333
But if were talking assassin weapons, Nolan reveals to Lex as part of the package to prepare them for the invasion, reveals how Viltrum's have a special organ in their inner ears that helps them balance and triangulate when flying and that like a dog whistle, there's a special frequency of sound human's can't hear that causes this organ to pop causing extreme pain.
