I'm still shocked at how nonchalant everyone is about Tywin. I mean the trial makes a very good point that if they started punishing people for misusing magic then other nobles would get punished too, and having free reign over magic is a lot more important to them than the tens of thousands of people Tywin has murdered or the massive refugee crisis he has created that the other kingdoms will have to deal with.

But it's like Tywin's own family, the fucking king, everyone in the room acknowledges that if Tywin feels to insulted he'll declare a rebellion against king Robert. It's like I understand having a light touch, but Jesus Christ, when Robert has to specifically watch his words to keep Tywin from having a tantrum and starting a war, I don't know why anyone puts up with it.

And I mean I get it, magic makes war a million times more complicated. But if I was Robert or Lyanna, I would be having some serious conversations about what to do with Tywin in the future. When you look at the land these different realms in Westros have, Tywin is a king. They are all kings. Lesser kings under the High King of the Iron Throne, and now they have sorcery and monsters and spirits to back them up.

I'll look around for any fic's. But body modification is pretty niche unfortunately. But again with Tywin, he's at his weakest he's ever been and he doesn't even see it. His wife is mortal and pregnant. Tyrion is going to want something for going to bat for him and Tywin is not going to pay up, potentially breaking the relationship. His other two kids hate him and are pissed about this whole shit show.

He's made literal gods very unhappy who's attention is on him. Robert and Lyanna aren't very happy either and he's already cashed a lot of favors with them. All the other kingdoms are looking at him too and his show of weakness. Just because he slows down the necromancy doesn't mean his kingdom isn't still infested with its energy and causing him problems.

But yeah while Charles Dance gives a magnificent performance and on surface he looks like a very smart, calculating dude, there's a reason in the books all the armor the Lannister wear is gilded with gold. And there's a reason Tywin is killed on the privy. Because when you strip it all down, he's full of shit.
