Questionable Questing

Causing the worlds to combine would cause a lot of chaos and a potential war that could kill a lot of people, but the longer the fae hide away and separate themselves the weaker they become and if given enough time will eventually kill them.

So the Dark Fae want to survive and thrive and go not quietly into the gentle night

And damn anyone and anything in their path. While the Light don't think its worth the risk, of potentially being enslaved or genocided by the humans, and would rather try to search for other means.

Since fae are connected with nature and deathly allergic to iron, the more human's expand with their iron cities the weaker they become. It makes the apocalyptic nature of the conflict more and more intense, when a few hundred years ago the Light could still argue that human's where satisfied with what they had now.

I like this. And where do our teen kings and queens feel on this?

Pretty divided. They used to be pretty set in their ways, obviously the prophecy made that the siblings would be their retrospective messiah to their faction didn't help, and it almost destroyed their relationship and led to them killing each other, but as they've gotten older they kind of soften and starting to see that there isn't a right or wrong answers. Just a bunch of shitty ones.

Right now their searching for an alternative and theorizing different plans they could do to try get the funds and political power to preserve enough forest's to keep the fairies alive, but their also planning for the day when human's and fae inevitably meet.

And they favor the Fae even if they would protect humanity?

Well they might be human and they might love their families, but you have to keep in mind they spent their entire adulthood growing and learning inside the fae world. For better or worse they've been pretty thoroughly nativized.

How has the bright and dark court changed them?

Don't know yet, I would have to do some more world building in how exactly fae society works and how their differing philosophy and attitudes effected them. But that sounds like a lot and I'm getting kind of tired.
