Questionable Questing

Sure. I asked last time if there was any mechanic changes being made to accommodate the whole kingdom building and culture design part for the quest, and I found a really good example of that.

Warhammer Fantasy; A Dynasty of Dynamic Alcoholism over on SV is absolutely amazing. One of the best quests on that entire website. My only complaint is how long it takes for updates since its so good. Has literal years worth of stories and side adventures in it.

I know of it and read Dynasty in the Mists before it. I lost the plot for Dynasty of Dynamic Alcholism years ago after the dwarf city was retaken. Awesome quest

But speaking of quests, what's your plan with this new one? Is it a spin off? A sequel? And if it is a sequel what role will Lyanna play?

She's strong enough and important enough of a character her very presence will be change things dramatically and is basically an emergency button Hurrik can pull at any moment. So on some level she'll need to be kept away for most of the quest or it'll be too easy. But at the same time the relationship between the two is one of the most interesting things about Hurrik.

How do you plan on balancing that and her inevitable pregnancy with her son's babies?

Sequel and Lyanna will be a starting lead harem member and companion to Hurik our hero

See we don't have to worry about her breaking things because her and Hurik are fighting factions. People who by now have had years to gather Invested and Mages equal to Robert and Lyanna. Magical resources to match her. And keeping it real time updates avoids having to talk about multiple kids from Hurik breeding her silly every orgy weekend

Be interesting to see as different kingdoms get more magically powerful, they start to get more arrogant and independent from the king as he no longer as a monopoly of force like the Targ's did. Could have a slowly and steady disillusion of power, not in a full blown civil war but more in the sense people ignore and respect the king's law less and less over time.

Could be a nice background problem without any easy answers.

Sets up conflict for Steffon as heir to deal with and call on his brother Hurik to help with. Going to set Steffon up next quest as Master of Laws while Robert tries to prepare for his son to take over. And we are capping off Frozen Dreams with a Riverlands mother and son sept retreat for the goal of a massive breeding orgy and Lyanna cumulating her character with a evolution of mind control powers

A group delusion as Lyanna in a ultimate advancement of her character and beliefs doesn't force anyone into her fantasy. She offers them a promise of pleasurable purpose and satisfied dreams and if they accept they are swallowed up by her feral desire and greed. They become absorbed in her lust and how she sees the and feels the world

Kind of reminds me a little of Miss Robin's dream sequences a little. pretty cool.

I wonder how these powers will mix with the children of the forest and Weirwood's power to relive memories from the past.
