Really in a perfect world Biden should've marketed himself as a one term president and dropped out and let the primaries go on as usual. Would've given people time to come up with a campaign plan and consistent messaging even if you risk it turning into a shit show.

But truthfully I don't think any Democrat was going to have a good run this year. Disastrous economy, several wars, some really big ones with Ukraine and Israel and that last one has really splinted the party as the more progressive youth face off against many of the wealthy and Jewish donors. Biden hasn't been active or present for several months for obvious reasons.

Again I don't really know who could've worked well with all that going against them. Plus the so-called progressive stack isn't nearly as united as people think. Trump's percentage of the Black vote and Arab vote has doubled in a lot of different states. That's not even getting started on how much the Mexican votes have been carrying him in some states.
