Questionable Questing

These various beasts are just taking advantage of these groups to further their own goals and in many ways fight with them just as much as they fight everyone else. Basically I try to portray them as their own nation with their own goals and how that could potentially align with other groups, but never to the point of dominating or controlling.

I would never in a million year make the Nazi's or any real historical atrocity be caused by something as stupid as a ritual to summon an ancient evil or as the backdrop to a wizarding war. Looking at you Rowling with making Hitler a slave of Dumbledore's ex. I don't think including or using history in your story is disrespectful since you can teach people stuff, but you shouldn't try to replace it.

Yep, Grindelwald, the evil wizard, Dumbledore's secret lover, and prequel villain for the fantastic beast movies, explicitly helped the Nazi's into power, with hints he used mind magic to do so, specifically so he can use the chaos from the second world war to not only take over the wizard world but also the rest of the world too. lol.

He really isn't as complicated of a villain as fans and the author likes to pretend. But like I said, Grindelwald taking advantage of the Nazi movement for his own ends, sure that's fine, but secretly being the puppet master behind it? Especially with Mind Control? Firstly not only does that kind of whitewash the Nazi's in a way since now their just pawns in a evil wizards scheme.

But secondly that just completely destroys the power leveling of Harry Potter, not that it wasn't already all over the place to begin with. Since if a guy like Grindelwald can mind control nations, why isn't the wizarding world secretly acting as the illuminati this entire time? But like I said before, it just left a really bad taste in my mouth and feels very contrived.

Bud forget the power leveling. Evil wizards directed Hitler to do the Holocaust. Not centuries of Anti Semetism. Christ

It's like Rowling wanted to include the Nazi's in her book, since it was specifically set in the 1930's but didn't know how to actually organically intertwine it and decided to hand wave it in. And she didn't get the timing right either, While Hitler was sworn in 1933 as chancellor, he was arguably the most important man in Germany years before that.

Spending the 1920's gaining power and even organizing a coup before settling on becoming democratically elected when that fizzled out miserably and left him and most of his supporters in jail for a couple years. Just hand waving it away with evil wizards was such a cop out and ironically waved away a lot of the interesting historical facts she could've included to make her story even better.

Can you imagine a story set in the tail end of Weimar Germany, watching an ambitious evil wizards infiltrating and helping basically a terrorist organization campaign and build up support while having gang battles with communist groups and various other factions within a dying republic. Would've been a lot more interesting and would've had a lot more to say on how and why the Nazi's came to be.

Make those wizards nazi followers inspired by Hitler. Keep nazis responsible for their evil.

With the Edward, tried to befriend and help Bella but over time Bella figures out his intentions are impure and his planning of her emotions that of a immortal. She sees more and more the creature behind the nice boyfriend dream

I kind of like the idea that Edward is trying to be human, kind of like in the books, but he just can't do it. He's too strange. He's too off. No matter how hard he tries it just comes off as wrong to normal people. And while Bella is learning to accept the real him, he's also having his own character arc of embracing being a monster and how that doesn't make him any less of himself.

My idea to add to this is he's a powerful Elder vampire who's been in a daze and with Bella hopes to breed a house of Reinfields as servants and families. Daughter soldiers and femboy son wives. With Bella as matriarch

Sounds fun. With Bella and Edward through their romance both learning how to be effective rulers and embrace who they really are. But we will have to talk more tomorrow. I'm getting some sleep. Maybe some on My Therapist. I've been working on it today and will do some more tomorrow.

Nope. lol. Today's actually been pretty rough, one of my aunt's dogs, Buster, has some kind of ear infection and I needed to take him to the vet to get some medicine. I don't know if you've ever seen it or know about it,

But most of your sense of balance comes from these special sac's in your inner ear and if you get swelling there it can actually cause you to not be able to walk or move your head properly since you're balance gets completely shot. Which is what happened to Buster. So not only was getting their a pain in the ass since the only close by vet that was open today was like thirty minutes away.

I assume it is horrible to look at and feels very bad for the dogo. He going to be okay?
