Not helped by a crash on the freeway causing a lot of traffic, but getting home was a nightmare too since Buster was given an ear cleaning which he did not like at all. I had to practically hold him down, which he's a Chihuahua and you know how feisty those are, as we drove home since he was shaking his head so much from the cleaner that got caught in it.

But he seems to be doing better now, and we got some antibiotics and anti-inflammatory meds that should help. As well as the number for a skin specialist to visit later who actually specializes in ears if this doesn't work. Still sucks and dealing with all this was a pain.

And pain for the dogo. Hopefully he feels better. Anything else happen today?

Nope been pretty busy with that. This was a first time visit obviously for Buster since we haven't found a vet yet here in Arizona, so combining the paperwork, standard check up, and general trouble in finding the building, we were there at the vet for a solid two hours, another hour and maybe half for all the driving back and forth.

Although some furniture finally showed up today, a few rugs and a brand new cabinet for my bathroom I'll probably build tomorrow. And a friend of mine from trade school, who's back in California, broke his arm today. He fell off a ten foot ladder, working on a mini split. But he was joking around about this helping him through no nut November so I think he's doing fine. lol

I suggested he go through workers comp, and hopefully he gets some money for all the trouble.

And nah. Waiting for arc three of season 2 of Arcane to drop and you to watch both seasons so I can talk about it.

I hope so too. But if he's able to joke about it then it sounds like he's doing fine. And he already mentioned his jobs going to put him on light work as well as give him a week or two off so it sounds like their trying to be accommodating

Well it's the trades, not only are they a little more used to workplace injuries, but I'm pretty sure someone was doing something they weren't supposed to with that ladder and that's why he fell.

And I would like to blame the company for being lax, but I get it. You're stuck in someone's roof, it's a hundred degrees outside so it a hundred ten or twenty inside and you really don't feel like climbing down, then go to you van which is parked outside on a curb a little ways away from the house because that neighborhood gives you tickets if you park there.

Just to have to root around to find a special tool and then run all the way back and all the way up the ladder and back into the attic, just to check in a few wires are hot or not. And since you're tired and this is the last house of the day, you decide to take a risk that you're pretty sure won't get you hurt. lol.
