I'm not big on the alt universes. I got into League through Arcane which is distinct. Focused on the story of Piltover and Zaun

Any other stuff you're watching or into right now? Since I haven't seen any of Arcane yet, and now that I think about it there really aren't that many Tv shows going on right now. Is it because it's almost the new year or the holidays are slowing everything down? Not a lot of movies either.

I've been actually revisiting some of the old Silent hill games, especially the third and forth one, and revisiting another old favorite of mine Persona 4. Since games have been pretty sparse too.

Currently no shows. Arcane was the big one and it fucked me up with that ending. And how is Persona? I've seen some porn for it with mind control master joker

Basically all of humanity's hopes, fears, dreams, and emotions are all connected to each other and form this separate plain of existence, and in this place different gods and creatures are formed from mankind's collective desire for various things. Like Erebus being are inherent self destructive nature or Yaldabaoth being control. With the only real god that's completely separate from humanity being Nyx.

Anyway these gods are in a way trapped in this separate plain which is usually referred to as the shadow world, but it has different nicknames for each persona game, they have very limited influence over the real world, but what they can do is empower a human who will be their avatar and through rituals can act as a gateway for these gods into the real world.

But one of the big things holding these gods back is if they summon for example someone who desires control, then they also have to summon someone who represents freedom, basically it creates a self balancing system, where an avatar will always have an equal and opposite to oppose them. Because of the inherent duality of human nature. With the opposites usually acting as the Protagonist for the game.

And these avatar's are known as Wildcards and are special because they can wield multiple persona's. What's a persona? You know how I mentioned human emotions is what creates this world, a persona is someone's true self. It's the culmination of all their feelings, good and bad, morphed into a digimon like monster you can fight with, since this is a JRPG after all. lol.

With gaining your persona requires you to face your shadow self which is the physical representation of all your fear, guilt and more negative emotions you hide. Usually with a heroic speech and boss battle, again JRPG. But an avatar is special since they can summon personas based on the bond they make with the people around them, quite literally using the power of friendship to empower themselves. lol.

Beat the negative to summon your positive and negative inner psyche?

Less beating, although there is usually something like that, and more accepting that side of you. In Persona 4, every boss battle typically ends with a character finally accepting and usually hugging their alternate selves and absorbing them back in fully.

That's the fun of it. lol. Plus like you said before, lots of opportunity for porn as you have various gods and entities waiting to corrupt the heroes to their causes, you have some high stakes because every single human on earth is connected to this plain of existence so if is screwed up it'll have dire consequences on everyone else, plus just the fun of people discovering their true self for better or worse.

Oh which reminds me, I mentioned Nyx. She was an ancient alien God that crashed, after losing a battle against some other gods, into a lifeless earth many millions of years ago and the blast basically killed her with her body eventually forming the moon as it combined with some of the debris from the crash, and her mind and soul fusing with earth and eventually forming into humans and life.

What's for worse and better here?

You true self could be someone who wants to be a slave, a dominator, a daddy, a mommy, a corrupter, a leader lots of fun paths you can take for smut or character drama.
